Candidate is responsible for shaping, qualifying, and capturing strategic opportunities from early identification through award. The ideal candidate brings deep federal capture experience, strong customer relationships, disciplined pursuit processes, and a track record of winning prime contracts in competitive environments. This individual will operate in a high-accountability, fast-paced growth environment and work directly with executive leadership, business development, proposal, and delivery teams to secure new business aligned with Mayvin’s long-term strategy. Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have an active SECRET clearance (Top Secret Preferred) Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation (BI) Responsibilities: Capture Leadership & Strategy Lead capture for priority opportunities from qualification through award Develop and execute capture plans, win strategies, and call plans Shape opportunities early with customers and partners Drive competitive assessments and price-to-win strategies Lead Black Hat, Blue Team, and solution strategy sessions Customer & Market Engagement Build and maintain trusted relationships with government stakeholders Understand customer mission, pain points, and procurement pathways Identify and influence upcoming opportunities aligned to Mayvin strengths Represent Mayvin at industry days, conferences, and customer meetings Internal Coordination Partner with BD, proposal manager, and technical SMEs to align solution and messaging Lead capture gate reviews and readiness decisions Coordinate teaming strategy, partner selection, and agreements Ensure proposal readiness and continuity from capture through submission Prepare and provide information and decision briefings to Executive Leadership Pipeline & Growth Discipline Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts Support annual growth planning and revenue targets Contribute to vehicle strategy and positioning Help institutionalize capture best practices and processes Qualifications: 8–12+ years federal capture or BD experience Experience leading and winning full and open prime federal contracts valued at $100M+ Strong understanding of DoW/IC/civilian procurement processes Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes Excellent executive communication and briefing skills Demonstrated written and verbal communications Bachelor’s degree required Success Measures High capture win rate Pipeline quality and alignment to strategy Early shaping and positioning effectiveness Internal coordination and proposal readiness Contribution to long-term enterprise value Preferred Qualifications: Retired or separated from DoW, or other relevant Federal agency About Mayvin: Mayvin is more than a workplace—it’s a community built on innovation, inclusion, and impact. They need to closely support the Program Manager/Asst Program Manager to run their program to include interactions with stakeholders, tracking status, and budget development, management, and justification.
