What You Do Senior Claims Advocate • Provide technical services within a specialized function in direct support of Sales & Service teams • Collaborate with team for efficient objectives, processes and procedures through continuous improvement efforts • Oversee claim assignments, services and onboarding to implement procedures for clients • Provide claim consultation and client advocacy for assigned producer's clients • Coordinate, facilitate, prepare and attend all scheduled client claim reviews • Identify, organize and execute client claim review meeting agenda • Collaborate with carriers/TPA to develop appropriate claims action plans and target dates. Ensure carrier/TPA follows through on plans • Prepare unit stat reviews for Special Service Clients • Evaluate large files for settlement value and appropriate reserves. Discuss with carrier/TPA to ensure claim is appropriately reserved • Track complicated claims for resolution plans and closure • Document clearly and concisely all relevant activity on assigned files and makes recommendations for additional activity as appropriate • Assist and participate in prospecting. Attend prospect calls or meetings as requested • Provide specialized claim service as requested • Act as a resource for clients in resolving their claim concerns • Coordinates with Carrier Claim Liaison to ensure quality claim service • Collaborate as team to coordinate effective participation in claim meetings • Facilitate claim training to ensure all claims team members continue to grow their claims knowledge and meet the claims needs of our clients • Troubleshooting of coverage problems as well as other types of declinations • Train intradepartmental staff on effective internal claim management procedures • Other duties as assigned Your Education and Experience Required • Property and Casualty License must be obtained within 75 days of the first day of New Hire Onboarding • Commitment to advancing your insurance knowledge via training and obtaining approved industry designation • Associate in Claims (AIC) • 4+ years claims experience and have strong commercial lines coverage knowledge. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. A day in the life. As our Client Advisor Manager, you'll be at the helm of a dynamic team, guiding client advisory efforts and ensuring our clients receive top-notch service. You'll keep a pulse on client satisfaction, proactively delivering solutions that meet their needs. Collaboration is key, so you'll work closely with our sales team to assign client advisors and manage smooth transitions. Working collaboratively with various business units, you'll promote a OnePCS mindset and build strong relationships across the organization. Building and nurturing relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) will be a priority, as these connections can enhance our service offerings. You'll also take charge of forecasting and conducting performance reviews, addressing any underperformance to keep the team on track. Your role will involve handling client communications and presentations, as well as participating in hiring and interviewing processes to bring in the best talent. You'll analyze workload and manage resources effectively, conducting regular staff meetings and one-on-ones to foster development. For larger clients, you'll participate in advisory reviews and assist in resolving complex client or underwriting issues. Your focus will be on colleague development, training, and succession planning, ensuring our team is well-prepared for the future. You'll monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver solid financial results and develop business plans that set clear goals for referrals, new business, and cross-selling opportunities for Client Advisors. Additionally, you'll manage reporting requirements on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis while leading a hybrid workforce. Embracing change and adapting as needed, you'll reinforce the Marsh McLennan Agency Private Client Service vision and communicate effectively to provide clear and consistent leadership during transitions.
