Responsibilities: To include but not limited to: • Serve as the Contractor Project Manager to support facility requirements. • Assist the Government in developing SOWs, cost estimates, facility technical proposals, move-add-change requirements, AutoCAD drawings, Gantt Charts, and project schedules for various facility projects. • Assist the Government in utilizing software tools such as Builder or other similar tools. • With Government approval, facilitate internal and external working groups. • Interface with facility occupants on project requirements. • Assist the Government in supporting the facilities Master Plan. • Assist in the development of budgets and the coordination of procurement activities pertaining to architecture and engineering, facilities management, and facilities operations and maintenance. • Assist the Government in monitoring compliance with facilities requirements in local, state and federal statutes, regulations, and directives, including but not limited to Executive Order 13327 and 13693, as amended or exempted; and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 508. • Assist the Government in monitoring compliance with environmental and energy efficiency legislation and mandates. • Assist the Government in providing quality workspaces, in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), title 41, section 102-79.20; Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities. Qualifications: Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: • Active TS/SCI W/ Poly • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture or Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or General) or ten (10) or more years of federal facility management experience to include all phases of the facility life cycle process – planning, programming, design, construction, and operations. • Knowledge of Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems. • Demonstrated experience using at least one of the following five (5) tools: Archibus, Builder, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Project. • Demonstrated experience handling multiple, demanding, and complex tasks in a timely manner with accurate results. Desired Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: • Master’s degree in architecture, architectural engineering, or other related technical degree from an accredited school. • Professional Engineering License (P.E.), Register Architect (R.A.), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Project • Management Professional (PMP) or American Institute of Architects (AIA) Certification. • International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certification. Description Markon is seeking a Furniture Project/Installation Manager (PM/IM) to support awarded CONUS and OCONUS BPA Call Orders for one of our Intelligence Community customers. The PM/IM will be responsible for providing leadership, management, and oversight for furniture installation projects, ensuring timely and compliant execution in accordance with Government requirements. Responsibilities This position requires direct engagement with Government representatives, subcontractors, and dealership project managers, with the expectation of travel to both CONUS and OCONUS sites as needed to fulfill project responsibilities. This position will also require some physical labor tasks including but not limited to completing minor furniture installations (new installations and reconfigurations), heavy lifting and/or moving of product, product un-boxing and assisting with inventory and storage tasks. The Furniture Project/Installation Manager's responsibilities are (but not limited to): • Coordinate complex furniture installation projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Government requirements while maintaining efficiency and quality standards. • Support awarded CONUS and OCONUS BPA Call Orders, with additional PM/IM support provided as required based on project volume. • Lead and manage installation projects, ensuring quality performance by the project team and subcontractors. • Serve as the liaison between the Government and contractors for all furniture execution activities. • Oversee all phases of project performance, including communication, planning, specification checks, scheduling, running and attending meetings at all phases, quality control, and compliance. • Create and maintain accurate records to include agendas, meeting minutes, schedules, inventories and trackers etc. Responsible for keeping these records on the Government Share site in designated locations. • Assisted with installation project phasing and process recommendations as needed. • Responsible for assisting with clearing individuals and arranging escorting for all visitors and installers at all government locations as needed. • Attend site visits and walk throughs at all government locations as needed. • Coordinate final project punch-list walkthroughs with the furniture vendor and the Government COR. • Perform quality control activities, create and assist with red-lines and as-built drawings, meetings, record keeping and required documentation for and with construction project managers. and coordinate scheduling meetings. • Manage and coordinate the Service Central furniture ticket process, including repairs, reconfigurations, seating, and signage requests. • Supervise Furniture Installation Subcontractors and Dealership Project Managers, ensuring adherence to Government procedures and schedules. • Ensure subcontractors deliver complete installation packages (floor plans, furniture types, electric/data plans, panel elevations, 3D renderings, notes and bills of materials) that meet OSHA and Government standards. • Coordinate installation plans with the construction project manager including electrical and IT layouts to maximize efficiency, functionality, and security compliance. Qualifications Required: • An Active TS/SCI with a CI Poly (Preferrably from this client). • 5+ years of experience as a furniture installer or project manager for projects of similar scope, type, and complexity. • Knowledge of manufacturer’s furniture products utilized under the contract. • Systems furniture knowledge including the typical parts and pieces for building workstations. • Proven ability to negotiate, resolve issues, and implement quick solutions. • Strong communication and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders. • Ability to interpret technical drawings and floorplans. • Willingness to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations. Desired: • ARCHIBUS, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), and developing project plans and technical documentation.
