This is an onsite position. This position plays a key role in providing IT support for various Windows and Linux-based technologies, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems while supporting mission-critical operations. This is part of a dynamic environment that has opportunities for technical growth and innovation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Provide IT systems support for a wide range of Windows & Linux based technologies, including Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and Group Policy Editor • Manage the installation and integration of hardware, system fixes, updates, and enhancements • Resolve hardware/software interface and interoperability problems • Troubleshoot and resolve complex or non-routine issues • Write and maintain documentation for supported services, processes, and configurations • Maintain relationships with customers with diverse needs and offer solutions tailored to their requirements • Review, plan, test, and implement Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) • Support the development and maintenance of Operating Systems by ensuring the system's stability and security • Provide recommendations for system improvements and troubleshooting • Work closely with other IT professionals, contractors, and vendors to optimize the operational capabilities of the systems Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related scientific discipline with 2+ years of IT experience, particularly in IT systems administration or related fields.
