Required Skills: • BS/AS Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Equivalent work experience may substitute. • At least 2 years’ experience in a technical, customer focused, field service position. • Be able to work with minimal direction and function without a set schedule • Proficient with Microsoft 365, PLCs, HMI and PCs used in industrial applications. • Solid PLC/Controls experience with ability to understand ladder logic to know what is or is not happening in sequence and edit code as needed. • Must live within 45 minutes of Hillsboro, OR. • Preferred to have experience working in cleanroom environments, following all customer protocols . • Have a firm understanding of motion control systems (e.g., robotics). • Have a firm understanding of mechanical devices employed in systems or tools such as robots, conveyors, shuttles, and other material handling devices. • Excellent customer focus and strong attention to detail. Monitor processes for deviation and monitor daily quality of production. • Aid in the resolution of any relevant Labor Relations issues with Union representatives. • Develop and implement detailed plans for new product introduction with emphasis on First Time Right. • Work with Logistics and Maintenance in the planning of unit turnarounds. • Review capital projects for safety and operability. Issue capital expenditure requests for minor capital projects. • Coordinate the use and implementation of site’s Management of Change process. • Recruit and mentor plant tech service engineers and/or logistics personnel.
