As Walmart/Sam’s Account Manager, you will be accountable for the achievement of account-specific goals by building strategic sales plans, developing customer relationships, managing a broker partner and executing a trade marketing plan to drive sales and profitable growth through effective promotions, new item distribution and retail excellence. This role will report into the Sr Director of Sales, Mass and is a position based in NW Arkansas (with the expectation to visit the Tribeca NY office at least twice a year). Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of top-of-funnel media channels to drive DTC and retail growth. A strong operational knowledge of various media channels and proven success in driving DTC and retail outcomes is essential. | We're looking for a results-driven, strategic Senior Manager of Paid Media to lead planning, execution, and optimization of top-of-funnel (ToF) media channels across Magic Spoon’s rapidly expanding omnichannel business, driving both DTC and retail growth. You will own our top of funnel multi-channel Paid Media program, collaborating with agency, external, and internal partners. With a performance mindset, rigorous execution and a rich understanding of our consumer you will play a critical role in growing consumer demand across all sales channels and helping fuel our next phase of growth. This is a full-time, hybrid role (Tues, Weds, Thurs in the NYC Tribeca office). As Senior Manager, Paid Media you’ll: Lead management and execution of ToF media channels, collaborating with external partners and onboarding new ones where necessary. Oversee: Podcast, Influencer, Video (e.g. YouTube, OLV, CTV, linear TV) and Programmatic media. Lead measurement approach and testing roadmap for all channels, leveraging various methodologies such as MMM, MMT, survey data and lift testing. Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on media strategy and execution. Provide consolidated POVs and feedback across teams for streamlined communication. Contribute strategic input to creative production and concept development. Collaborate on creative production processes to ensure assets are media-optimized and insights-driven. Forecast, track, and manage ToF budgets in partnership with Finance, ensuring efficiency and interconnectivity across teams. Monitor campaign performance and deliver insights for optimization. Partner with Retail and cross-functional teams on ad-hoc projects and insight sharing. Ensure media learnings inform broader marketing and business strategies. 6+ years hands-on experience in paid media/advertising/brand marketing, with direct channel ownership and budget accountability for multiple ToF online and offline channels (e.g., Podcasts, Influencer, TV/CTV/OLV, Programmatic, Retail Media/Shopper). Demonstrated success using ToF paid media to drive both DTC and retail outcomes (experience at an omnichannel CPG brand or DTC brand with strong retail business preferred). Deep operational knowledge of at least two: CTV/Linear TV, Influencer, Video (OLV, YouTube), Programmatic Display/Video campaigns. Proven track record in media measurement—MMM, MMT, incrementality/lift, attribution, survey data—and ability to interpret and present complex results to cross-functional teams. Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Experience managing external media and creative agencies, media buying, and/or influencer programs. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Growth, Retail/Sales, and Analytics teams. Experience collaborating on creative development for paid media, including creative brief writing, feedback, and media-specific optimization. Strategic, outcome-oriented mindset—proactive in driving solutions, identifying opportunities, and challenging the status quo. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; additional marketing certifications a plus. A passion for food, CPG, DTC, and the fast-evolving media landscape.
