Role Description As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you will lead high-level strategic partnerships across major Texas school districts to ensure our tools reduce teacher burnout and accelerate student learning at scale. As a regional expert and commercial lead, this consultative position involves managing a multimillion-dollar book of business. Key responsibilities include driving customer adoptions and leading renewal efforts. You will oversee complex onboarding and renewal processes, coach teachers and administrators through change, and design interventions that boost adoption. This role is regional, meaning you should live in and bring extensive experience in Edtech in Texas to be considered for this role. Responsibilities In this role, you will own a portfolio of school and district relationships and be responsible for driving the following measurable outcomes: • Portfolio Growth and Retention: You will manage a multimillion dollar portfolio while maintaining a Net Revenue Retention (NRR) rate above target through strategic price increases and seat expansion. • Product Adoption: You will drive active usage across your districts by delivering high-impact training and implementation strategies and creating compelling support materials, such as tutorials and one-pagers, that ensure implementation is scalable and our tools become essential to daily teacher workflows. • Churn Mitigation: You will identify at-risk accounts and execute intervention playbooks to maintain a gross churn rate below company thresholds, specifically focusing on a 90 day action plan for high-stakes renewals. • Strategic Relationship Management: You will build deep trust with district executive leadership, managing accounts with individual ARR values of six-figures or more through data-driven storytelling and consultative selling. • Leadership and Mentorship: You will scale our collective impact by contributing high level insights to the Customer Success playbook, driving cross functional strategy in leadership meetings, and mentoring junior team members to elevate the entire regional organization. • Key Metrics of Success • Net Revenue Retention • Churn Rate • Pilot conversion • Expansion Growth • Operational Excellence Qualifications/Competencies/Skills To be successful in this role, you’ll bring the following skills and competencies: • Ownership Mentality: You take full responsibility for your portfolio, working with a high degree of urgency and a bias toward action. • Commercial Fluency: You are comfortable leading complex financial negotiations, including discussing contraction risks, pricing adjustments, and expansion opportunities. • Relationship-Driven: You build deep trust with teachers and district leaders alike. • Texas K-12 Expertise: You possess a deep understanding of the Texas educational landscape and currently reside in the state. • Strategic Problem Solving: You can balance long-term account health with the immediate pressures of a fast-paced renewal season. Product Manager - Enterprise (PRISE) Role Description As a Product Manager focused on district partnerships, you will own product experiences that help MagicSchool serve school districts as we onboard and support schools and sites. You’ll build features that address district-level needs such as administration, configuration, governance, adoption, observation and impact. These new experiences will ensure district leaders, IT teams, and educators can confidently deploy and manage MagicSchool across diverse environments. This role emphasizes strong execution and customer empathy, with a focus on translating district partner needs into clear product requirements and shipped solutions. It will require thoughtful synthesis and ability to prioritize amidst tradeoffs. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, scalable capabilities that support district adoption and day-to-day operations, while contributing to ongoing roadmap refinement as we learn from district usage and feedback. Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for driving towards the following outcomes: • Prioritize enterprise and district-facing features that enable successful district-wide adoption, informed by customer needs, sales motions, and long-term platform strategy. • Partner closely with engineering to design and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that meet district requirements and constraints. • Collaborate with Sales, CX, and Partnerships to ensure strong expansion and engagement with Enterprise features within school districts. • Define and monitor success metrics related to district adoption, usage, and outcomes to guide roadmap decisions. • Navigate complex tradeoffs across district stakeholders (IT, curriculum, administrators, educators) to deliver cohesive, high-impact product experiences. Experience & Qualifications To be successful in this role, you’ll bring the following experience and qualifications: • 3+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-user or enterprise-focused products. • Strong ability to partner deeply with engineering to translate district needs into scalable product solutions. • Track record of evaluating ambiguous problems and delivering pragmatic, high-impact product outcomes. • Experience prioritizing and executing in fast-paced, startup environments. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Bias toward action and ownership, with the ability to move work forward independently while keeping cross-functional partners aligned. • Proven ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights, such as customer feedback, usage data, and operational signals, to inform product decisions and iteration. Nice to have: • Experience building or managing enterprise SaaS products, particularly in environments with complex customer needs or long adoption cycles. • Familiarity with K–12 school districts or public-sector organizations, including an understanding of how district priorities, constraints, and decision-making structures shape product adoption. • Exposure to district procurement, implementation, or change-management processes, and an appreciation for the coordination required to roll out products across schools and sites.
