Coordinate and execute logistics and fulfillment activities, manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee project delivery. | High school diploma or GED, 5+ years in freight forwarding operations, experience with cargo types like breakbulk and RORO, proficiency in logistics documentation and cost management. | Senior Project Coordinator - MPL (Freight Forward) We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator – MPL to join our Fulfillment & Logistics Operations Execution team. This role focuses on coordinating and executing key logistics and fulfillment activities, including inventory management, warehouse operations, and project delivery across various facility types (e.g., CFS, CY, inland depots, and bonded warehouses) owned or operated by Maersk. As a senior-level individual contributor, you will apply your technical and operational knowledge to drive project execution, while also supporting process improvement and solution development. You may mentor junior staff, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure efficient implementation of warehouse and fulfillment projects. You will work independently within defined processes and guidelines, using sound judgment to select between known solutions and escalate complex issues as needed. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the full logistics lifecycle - including planning, transportation, warehousing, and delivery - to ensure efficient and timely fulfillment of supply chain operations, • Coordinate OOG import and export shipments. • Issue delivery orders to trucking carriers and warehouses. • Ensure cargo is delivered on time and customer is kept informed of any changes or delays. • Help to mentor and train fellow team members on OOG cargo operations. • Be the first point of contact for team operational issues that need to be escalated to project manager. • Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders. • Obtain and negotiate quotes from vendors. • Must be comfortable managing relationships with multiple stakeholders including vendors, customers, and internal teams. • Demonstrated ability to oversee financial components of logistics operations - tracking costs and revenue, maintaining accurate rate records, and ensuring real-time visibility and communication of assessorial charges to stakeholders. Experience & Skills Requirements: Education & Experience: • High School Diploma or GED (required). Bachelors Degree (Business or related) preferred. • 5+ years of operations experience in project freight forwarding • Experience with breakbulk, RORO, and OOG flat rack shipments. • Experience with CargoWise is preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises 20+ employees in the area of Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
