Madhive is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with previous experience working in an AdTech ecosystem to join our engineering team at Madhive. This person will help build and improve the systems that power our advertising platform, with work spanning both backend and client-facing features. You’ll work closely with engineers across the stack to ship reliable, well-tested software and contribute to the quality and evolution of our technology. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in adtech and who wants to deepen their impact in a fast-moving environment. This role is open to engineers that are willing and able to work in our NYC or Mountain View, CA offices 2-3 days a week. What you’ll do Build and maintain features across our frontend and backend systems, with a strong emphasis on clean, maintainable code. Contribute to the design and implementation of UI components that give teams and clients strong visibility into system behavior and performance. Support backend services with a focus on data accuracy, system reliability, and operational excellence. Background in adtech, including hands-on experience with ad serving, pixels, tracking, measurement, or related systems. Solid backend development skills. We use Golang, but experience with any modern backend language is welcome. Strong experience with React or a comparable frontend framework preferred. Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Looker, OpenTelemetry, Centry, or New Relic. A strong interest in data science/machine learning concepts, or hands-on experience with high-throughput, ad-tech scale data solutions. Comfortable working with automated testing frameworks and contributing to an overall testing culture. Strong communicator who works well with cross-functional teams and enjoys solving complex problems in a collaborative environment. A thoughtful engineer who cares about reliability, usability, and building things the right way. The approximate compensation range for this position is $180,000-$220,000.
