Position: Laundry Aide Overview The Laundry Aide performs laundry duties in accordance with all current federal, state, and local regulations to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and comfortable. The role ensures an adequate supply of laundry and linens is available to meet residents’ daily needs. Education/Experience (Preferred) • High school diploma or GED • Previous experience in a laundry setting Essential Functions • Follow all Compliance Standards, Code of Conduct, and company policies • Report resident, family, or visitor concerns to supervisor • Complete assigned tasks per facility policies and supervisor instruction • Adhere to standard precautions, isolation procedures, and safety regulations • Report all incidents, accidents, or hazardous conditions • Attend department meetings, in-services, monthly staff meetings, and job training programs • Sort soiled laundry, linens, and garments • Fold and deliver residents’ laundry daily • Load and unload washers and dryers • Arrange clothes on racks in numerical order for delivery • Assist nursing staff in cleaning out residents’ closets • Cross-trained to work in the Housekeeping Department and provide coverage as needed • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Administrator We look forward to hearing from you!
