Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable software systems with embedded AI components. Work closely with data scientists and product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions using ML/AI models. Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and career development. Evaluate and integrate AI/ML technologies and frameworks that align with our product roadmap. Ensure best practices in software development, including testing, monitoring, and documentation. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and help define sprints and roadmaps. Help manage infrastructure for AI model training, deployment, and monitoring. Requirements 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership role. Proficiency in modern backend languages (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js, Java). Strong experience in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. Experience deploying ML models in production environments. Solid understanding of system architecture, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), and CI/CD practices. Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools (e.g., Airflow, Spark, BigQuery, Snowflake). Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Haves: Prior experience in a healthtech, mental health, or digital wellness company. Exposure to LLMs (Large Language Models), NLP, or generative AI applications. This role is critical in overseeing LunaJoy’s financial operations, compliance functions, and information technology infrastructure. You will ensure financial integrity, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and data security while supporting the organization’s growth trajectory. Key Responsibilities Finance • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow). • Ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely month-end closings using QuickBooks Online. • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to guide strategic decision-making. • Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll disbursement. • Oversee revenue cycle management (RCM), accrual accounting, and vendor partnerships. • Develop and maintain investor reports, financial metrics (LTV, CAC by channel), and monthly dashboards. • Support venture fundraising, including projections, dilution modeling, and capitalization table management. • Manage 409A valuations and compliance with tax/audit requirements. • Drive automation and AI integration in finance workflows. Compliance & Legal • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC2, and healthcare regulatory requirements. • Lead vendor audits and manage compliance-related SOPs across the organization. • Oversee insurance policies (medical malpractice, liability, business coverage). • Manage patient- and customer-facing documentation (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy). • Partner with legal counsel to maintain and issue contract templates, NDAs, and board/investor documentation. Information Technology • Partner with IT leadership to ensure secure, scalable technology infrastructure. • Support AI-driven and automation-focused process improvements across finance and compliance. Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership • Collaborate with billing, credentialing, marketing, and clinical leadership to streamline operations. • Lead M&A financial diligence and integration processes. • Build SOPs and internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain financial accuracy. • Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance scalability, automation, and efficiency.
