Develop and implement regional communications strategies and produce diverse communications products to advance organizational goals. | Requires 1-2 years communications experience focused on regional church, strong project management, digital marketing proficiency, and language skills in English plus Spanish or French preferred. | Job Description: • Work with the international communications team and the regional program manager to create a strategy and monthly plan for communications to achieve regional goals • Implement the monthly communications strategy plan: produce high-quality communications products, including websites, blog posts, social media posts, emails, reports, publications, press releases, short videos, digital marketing, and others as needed • Increase the mission and branding of LSM, campaigns, and/or collaborations in the press • Train members on communications; adhere to LSM’s branding guidelines and values • Assist the regional program leader with ad hoc communications needs • Coordinate and collaborate with like-minded external organizations to advance mission • Collaborate closely with regional members, partners, and program managers to understand their specific communication needs; execute communications around events, campaigns, supporting Chapters, Circles, etc • Provide guidance and support in crafting compelling and regionally relevant messages • Draft and/or proofread staff work • Manage regional social media accounts and other communication channels, like email • Monitor and analyze communication performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvements • Ensure that regional communication efforts are consistent with the global brand, message, and strategy • Collaborate with the global communications team to effectively disseminate global campaigns, messages, and initiatives within the region • Adapt global marketing materials and strategies to fit the local context and languages of the region • Provide feedback and insights from the region to inform global strategy adjustments • Identify and share regional/national stories with the global comms team to ensure the regions are well represented on the global strategies • Work closely with both the global communications team and regional Movement Development teams to ensure effective communication and alignment • Regularly report on regional communication activities, achievements, and challenges • Share best practices and successful regional communication strategies with the global team and other regional communication officers Requirements: • Studies in communications, marketing, or a related field; or relevant, comparable experience • Proven experience (1 to 2 years) in communications, marketing, or related roles, with a focus on the regional Church • Strong understanding of the regional cultural and linguistic nuances • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (required) and Spanish or French (preferred) • Familiarity with Catholic social teaching and the Laudato Si' encyclical preferred • Familiarity or knowledge about ecological issues • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team structure • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms like Google Workspace, Zoom, Zoho, Slack, Social Media Management, Design tools, Canva, etc. Benefits: • Flexible work arrangements
