Build and maintain relationships with military and federal customers, identify opportunities, and support proposal development. | 5+ years in a similar role, success in building federal opportunity pipelines, and familiarity with federal procurement tools. | Position Overview: LATG is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive growth across U.S. Military and Federal civilian markets. This role identifies, shapes, and captures new opportunities aligned with LATG's technical strengths and long‑term strategy. The ideal candidate understands DoD and Federal acquisition, can translate customer needs into actionable strategies, and effectively leads activities across the full business development lifecycle. Duties and Responsibilities: The Business Development Lead is responsible for: Market Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with military and federal customers; represent LATG at industry events; research customer needs and acquisition plans. Pipeline Development: Identify and qualify opportunities; manage pipeline; monitor sources like SAM.gov, FPDS, and agency acquisition forecasts for emerging requirements. Capture & Proposal Support: Lead capture activities (qualification, win strategies, teaming); support proposal development (past performance, compliance, solution alignment). Internal Coordination: Align BD priorities with corporate strategy; provide pipeline updates; assist with marketing materials. Job Qualifications: Strong analytical, problem‑solving, math, and general financial skills. Excellent oral, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication abilities. 5+ years of functioning in a similar business development role Demonstrated success building and maintaining a DoD/Federal agency focused opportunity pipeline that led to revenue growth High attention to detail with the ability to self‑review work. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Effective teamwork skills and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and familiarity with GSA eBuy, FPDS and SAM.gov, agency acquisition forecasts Familiarity with Costpoint Capture/Opportunities module is highly desired Prior military service or employment by a federal agency in an acquisition-related role is highly desired. Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Position Location: Preferably New Orleans, LA, Charleston, SC, San Diego, CA, Huntsville, AL, Washington DC, remote possibility for the right candidate will be considered.
