Prepare accurate electrical estimates and manage medium size projects. | Requires 5+ years electrical estimating/project management experience and strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction. | Lippolis Electric is an established electrical contracting company serving the New York metropolitan area. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator/Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial, residential, and mixed-use electrical projects. Responsibilities • Prepare complete electrical estimates and competitive bids from plans, specifications, and scope documents • Perform detailed electrical takeoffs for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs • Review drawings and specifications and identify scope gaps, conflicts, and potential change-order opportunities • Solicit and evaluate material and subcontractor pricing • Develop accurate labor-hour projections and material budgets • Prepare bid summaries and review estimates with management before submission • Communicate with general contractors, vendors, suppliers, engineers, and project teams • Maintain organized bid files and track project opportunities • Assist with value engineering and alternative pricing when appropriate • Work closely with Project Managers and Operations to ensure estimates accurately reflect project requirements • Project manage medium size projects when needed. Qualifications • 5+ years of electrical estimating/Project management experience preferred • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and architectural plans • Strong understanding of labor, material, and equipment costs • Knowledge of NEC requirements and New York electrical construction practices • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet bid deadlines • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently while working as part of a team Compensation $100,000–$150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications Location: Pelham, NY Employment Type: Full-Time Lippolis Electric is looking for someone who can take ownership of the estimating process, produce accurate bids, and become a long-term part of our team.
