This role works closely with delivery teams, business stakeholders, and peer Product Owners across product areas to coordinate dependencies, clarify priorities, and ensure aligned execution. Key Responsibilities Backlog Ownership & Story Definition • Maintain and refine the team backlog, ensuring work items are clearly defined, prioritized, and sprint-ready. • Translate business needs and requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. • Support backlog refinement and sprint planning by ensuring assumptions, dependencies, and risks are identified and documented. Cross-Team & Product Owner Collaboration • Partner with Product Owners across other teams to identify, plan for, and manage cross-team dependencies. • Coordinate sequencing and timing of dependent work to support smooth delivery across teams or pods. • Communicate dependency risks, constraints, and impacts to delivery teams and product leadership. • Escalate dependency conflicts or capacity constraints when needed. Stakeholder Support • Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify priorities, and confirm scope. • Participate in intake discussions and help document objectives, dependencies, and delivery expectations. • Provide clear status updates and proactively surface risks, blockers, or changes in scope. Delivery Support • Partner with Engineering, QA, and the Scrum Master to support day-to-day execution. • Clarify requirements during delivery and respond to team questions in a timely manner. • Accept completed work against defined acceptance criteria. • Support delivery across multiple applications or workstreams while maintaining clarity and focus. Quality & Traceability • Ensure stories contain sufficient detail to support development, testing, and validation. • Support traceability from intake through delivery for reporting and visibility purposes. • Validate delivered functionality with stakeholders as needed. Continuous Improvement • Track basic delivery and backlog health metrics (e.g., sprint commitments, throughput, story completion). • Identify opportunities to improve intake clarity, backlog readiness, and dependency management. • Contribute to improving product ownership practices through feedback and collaboration. Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or delivery-focused role • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across teams • Demonstrated ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods (Scrum and/or Kanban) • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery tools Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in complex or multi-team environments • Experience supporting work with cross-team dependencies Success Looks Like • Backlog items are clear, prioritized, and ready for delivery • Dependencies are identified early and managed proactively • Delivery teams understand what is needed and when • Stakeholders experience predictable, transparent execution Lincoln Investment is an equal opportunity employer. As part of the Digital Solutions team, this role bridges business, user experience, and engineering—ensuring platform architecture, integrations, workflows, and data enable seamless digital interactions. The TPM partners closely with the Solution Architects, Product Owner, Scrum Master, UX, engineering leadership, and business stakeholders to define product roadmaps, ensure technical feasibility, and drive incremental value delivery. Responsibilities • Define and maintain the product suite roadmap in partnership with business leaders and Digital Solutions leadership. • Translate business priorities, regulatory needs, and advisor/client feedback into strategic initiatives and release plans. • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data strategy, security, and integration standards. • Work closely with engineering leads and solution architects to evaluate solution approaches, make build vs. buy decisions, and ensure scalability and maintainability. • Understand APIs, data flows, platform dependencies, workflow logic, and integration touchpoints across the advisor and client ecosystem. • Provide clarity on high-level requirements and technical context during refinement and design sessions. • Partner with Product Owners to translate roadmap epics into actionable backlogs. • Collaborate with Scrum Masters to sequence work, manage dependencies, and maintain predictable delivery flow. • Coordinate with Release Management, DevOps, and QA to ensure solutions are deployable, supportable, and compliant. • Track adoption, usage patterns, business KPIs, and experience insights to evaluate success. • Use data to recommend iteration opportunities and optimization priorities. • Support UAT, advisor/client pilots, feature rollout sequencing, and enablement activities. Requirements • 5+ years in Product Management, Technical Product, Solution Architecture, or similar role. • Proven experience delivering digital platforms, portals, or workflow solutions. • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-oriented discussions. • Experience with API-driven integrations, data modeling, eventing patterns, or system workflows. • Skilled in Agile delivery environments with cross-functional teams. Nice-to-haves • Experience in wealth management, investment advisory platforms, financial planning tools, or digital client service. • Familiarity with DORA metrics, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery approaches. • Understanding of UI/UX principles and journey mapping. • Relevant certifications (PM/PO, CSPO, CSM, PMP, etc.).
