Key Responsibilities • Serve as a consultant to a team of training professionals • Evaluate the quality and efficacy of a training program for nurse assessors • Conduct proficiency testing and assess competency of nurse assessors Required Qualifications, Training, and Education • Professional licensure as a Registered Nurse • Subject matter expertise in eligibility requirements related to Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) • Experience conducting functional assessments of adults who are living with disabilities • Deep knowledge of interrater reliability and quality assurance methodologies • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree is a bonus)

This role will oversee a statewide program which will help ensure Virginians who are living with developmental disabilities receive high quality home and community-based services. The core services of this program will focus on conducting Quality Service Reviews of HCBS providers to determine if individuals’ needs are being met through person-centered practices and services are provided in a way that is consistent with required standards and best practices.
