The Role We’re seeking a Freight Broker / Account Manager who thrives on hunting for new business while maintaining and growing key accounts. This role is perfect for a motivated professional with strong sales instincts, relationship management skills, and a passion for logistics. Key Responsibilities • Business Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and close new shipper accounts to drive revenue growth. • Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring excellent service delivery. • Carrier Relationships: Source, qualify, and negotiate with carriers to secure capacity and competitive pricing. • Operational Oversight: Track shipments, resolve service issues, and ensure smooth execution of freight movements. • Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets by expanding business with both new and existing customers. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Freight Broker, Logistics Account Manager, or similar role. • Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated success in new business acquisition. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and freight market dynamics.
