Job Summary As a key member of our Quality team, the Senior Manager of Supplier Quality will provide overall leadership to the business unit's supplier quality function including quality systems, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and more. Working with our Integrated Supply Chain, you will develop and execute supplier quality objectives and supplier management strategy including resource development, supplier approval, inspection points, and supplier improvement. We are looking for someone to define and track performance metrics in line with supplier quality objectives.What You Will Do Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the supplier quality program in compliance with ISO 9001, ITAR, DFARS, and relevant customer requirements. Establish and manage supplier qualification, source inspection, and audit plans to ensure adherence to performance targets. Drive supplier risk management, including risk-based supplier segmentation, risk assessments, and mitigation actions across the supply base. Develop and maintain robust supplier metrics and scorecards and lead improvement initiatives. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts with suppliers, ensuring timely action, containment, verification, and long-term effectiveness. Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Suppliers to ensure design for quality, DFM/DFMEA, and manufacturability alignment with supplier capabilities. Manage supplier change control, supplier deviation requests, and engineering change processes to maintain product integrity. Oversee incoming inspection, first article testing, supplier lot acceptance, and nonconforming material disposition in accordance with approved procedures. Develop and conduct supplier development programs, including onboarding, training, capability demonstrations, and ongoing capability assessments for critical components and systems. Ensure compliance with export controls, data security, and program confidentiality; oversee supplier ITAR controls, NDA adherence, and secure handling of sensitive information. Develop and execute Supplier Quality objectives and assist in the development of Quality policies and procedures Hire, train, and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers and Inspectors who work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations Maintain, execute, and improve the quality management system using departmental and company resources Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in a related technical field with a minimum of 7 years of experience Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and writing skills Ability to lead effective corrective action using disciplined problem solving methods and statistical analysis In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards ISO Lead Auditor experience desired; certification preferred Six Sigma Black Belt certification desired U.S. Citizenship required.
