Plan and manage Starline’s High Power Busway installation projects from contract award to completion, coordinating resources, budgets, and quality control. | 2-4 years experience in engineering project management or electrical installation management, Bachelor’s degree (preferred), PMP or commitment to PMP training, ability to travel up to 30%. | Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA. The Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing Starline’s Series HP (High Power Busway) installation projects from contract award to completion. This role involves coordinating various project elements, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, and maintaining quality standards. The Project Manager leads cross-functional teams, manages resources, and communicates effectively to ensure successful project outcomes. Essential Functions Develop project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project specifications and requirements. Ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives. Provide project forecasts to assist in production and material planning process. Maintain a high-level expertise of product knowledge. Provide technical guidance to project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Plan resources to meet project requirements. Monitor and manage project budgets, expenses and resource utilization. Collaborate with procurement and planning teams to acquire material and equipment. Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to uphold standards in design and quality of site workmanship. Troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions. Attend customer meetings to present project updates and solutions to overcome issues. Address client concerns to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Implement and enforce quality control measures for site installations. Conduct inspections and audits on installations to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements and address issues promptly. Report on project progress and milestones. Maintain accurate project documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven experience in engineering project management or management of electrical installations. Strong technical knowledge in electrical distribution systems. Proficient in project management tools and techniques. Proficient in BIM processes and procedures Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering (preferred) PMP or committed to complete of PMP training 2-4 years experience Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection.
