The Legal Operations Specialist will oversee and optimize legal technology tools and contracts, providing support to the Legal team and enhancing internal processes. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, managing contract lifecycle, and tracking operational performance. | Candidates should have prior experience with an in-house commercial legal team and a strong understanding of legal and business terminology. What You'll Do: Day-to-day legal support, including processing contracts and responding to new contract requests from internal LegitScript teams. Negotiate and process contracts for execution via a contract life-cycle management (CLM) platform and Docusign. Manage backend functionality and integrations of CLM platform. Support the LegitScript legal and finance teams in locating existing agreements and understanding the terms within those agreements. Provide contract administration and contract lifecycle management, including clean-up activities of legacy files and ongoing maintenance to ensure current and accurate metadata. Provide input and support for the creation and updates of LegitScript’s contract templates. Track and report on the operational performance of the Legal team and the status of various contract requests and negotiations. Partner with internal stakeholders to define Company’s vendor management process, including evaluating vendor management platforms and defining internal vendor management policies, review of new vendor requests, tracking of existing vendor compliance and contract end dates, and ensuring consistent terms across new vendor contracts. Help identify and define continuous improvement efforts and assist with implementing changes to increase efficiency and scalability. Coordinate with finance, security/compliance, and other internal teams, and external parties for contract-related reviews. Triage and route requests for legal support to the appropriate internal teams. Track contract end dates and notify stakeholders in advance. Assist in compiling department analytics and reporting on key metrics. Assist with ad hoc legal requests and research. Support the legal team in maintaining LegitScript’s intellectual property portfolio and corporate registrations. What You'll Bring: Prior experience working with an in-house commercial legal team.
