The Role As LearnLux’s Vice President of Finance, you will lead the company’s financial strategy, operations, and execution as we continue to scale. Reporting to the COO and working closely with the CEO, you will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, helping drive financial discipline, visibility, and decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role that blends strategic thinking with operational ownership. You will be responsible for building scalable financial systems, improving rigor and predictability, and ensuring LearnLux has the financial foundation needed to support growth. The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in shaping how we plan, measure, and operate the business, with meaningful influence across teams and initiatives as the company evolves. This role is remote within the U.S., with candidates expected to be based in or near New York City and available for in-person collaboration as needed. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder. What you’ll do Act as the strategic finance partner to the CEO, COO, and Board, providing insight into business performance, capital efficiency, and long-term financial planning. Own and evolve FP&A, including forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and financial planning to support growth and decision-making. Lead and oversee accounting operations, working closely with an outsourced accounting firm to ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with GAAP. Build scalable financial processes, controls, and systems to support a growing B2B2C fintech business. Prepare and deliver clear, actionable financial reporting for executive leadership and the Board, with a focus on transparency and predictability. Partner cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, Client Success, People, and Legal teams to align financial planning with company priorities. Support go-to-market efforts through pricing analysis, renewals, revenue forecasting, and unit economics. Manage tax, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with external partners. Contribute to capital planning, investor communications, and future fundraising preparation as needed. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and financial rigor as the company scales. Help define the roadmap for building an internal finance team over time, while remaining deeply involved in execution. You should bring 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or technology-enabled businesses. Experience in the benefits and wellness industry is heavily preferred Proven experience building and operating finance functions in Series A+ or growth-stage startups. Strong background in FP&A, accounting oversight, and financial operations, with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution. Deep understanding of GAAP, audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements. Experience partnering closely with CEOs, COOs, and Boards, with comfort operating under close executive oversight. Demonstrated ability to operate independently and take full ownership in environments with limited structure. Familiarity with global financial operations, including contractors and multi-currency considerations. Hands-on experience with tools such as QuickBooks, Brex, Ramp, Carta, and HubSpot (or similar). Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, or equivalent credentials are a plus. The Role As Vice President of Client Success, you will lead and scale LearnLux’s Client Success function, owning the full post-sale customer lifecycle and ensuring our partners achieve measurable, meaningful outcomes from our platform. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct responsibility for retention, expansion, customer satisfaction, and long-term customer value. Key Responsibilities Drive net new revenue by owning the end-to-end enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close. Build and manage a strategic pipeline of Fortune 1000 and multinational employer prospects, leveraging both outbound and inbound sources.
