Implement and oversee compliance programs across payments, financial regulations, data privacy, and operational risk management for a fintech client. | 10+ years of financial services compliance experience, preferably in consumer lending, with strong regulatory and operational risk management skills. | Latitude is seeking an experienced Fractional Compliance Professional for a remote contract engagement with one of its high growth fintech company clients. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the financial services sector, ideally in the consumer lending space, and be capable of implementing and overseeing compliance programs across payments, financial regulations, data privacy, and operational risk management. Prior experience working in-house with a financial services company, or in the financial services practice group of a mid- to large-size law firm is highly preferred. Requirements for the Fractional Compliance Officer (In-House, Remote Contract Engagement): • 10+ years of compliance experience, with a preference for most of that experience to be in the financial services industry • Experience leading and developing regulatory and operational risk mitigation solutions and compliance risk management infrastructures • Experience developing and monitoring compliance policies and operational processes, risk control systems, and compliance audit programs • Outstanding references Position Details for the Fractional Compliance Officer (In-House, Remote Contract Engagement): • Type of Role: Contract Engagement • Schedule: Part-Time • Duration: 1-3 months • Location: Remote Compensation Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position). Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
