Job Summary The Meter Systems Engineer (MSE) is responsible for supporting technical application of all of the Company products. Primary Responsibilities: • Meets quarterly and annual quotas for sales revenue, new order bookings, the development of new accounts and the sale of major deployment commitments to existing key accounts • Keeps all account records and data bases up-to-date and provides management with regular and special reports as required • Works with assigned technical support personnel, regional sales managers and other company personnel to provide consultative services to customers and representatives relating to configuration, use, operation, and maintenance of equipment that will be purchased • Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers. • Manages productive working relationships with key accounts. • Support and adhere to Company's Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. • Perform other duties as assigned or required Education and Experience (include required Certifications, if any): • Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university • 5 years business-to- business experience selling high ticket, high technology products or services • Must be bi-lingual (French/English) • Experience in the energy technology and/or utility space is preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Relevant field sales experience, utility industry strongly preferred. • 10+ years relevant field sales experience, utility industry strongly preferred. • Ability to persuasively communicate value propositions to prospective customers resulting in the successful closure of the majority of opportunities pursued • Ability to read, analyze, and understand technical information, financial reports, and legal documents • Personal Computer knowledge • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite • Keyboard/typing skills • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
