Create and manage short-form social media content tailored to educators, including filming, editing, and engaging with the community. | Experience with social media marketing, content creation, and familiarity with educator audiences, plus ability to produce videos independently. | Description: Knowt is an AI-powered learning platform used by millions of students and teachers worldwide to study smarter, support academic integrity, and elevate instruction. We work closely with educators to build tools that respect pedagogy, save time, and help students truly learn. We’re looking for a part-time, contract Social Media Manager, who is an educator or has deep experience working with teachers, to help bring Knowt’s educator story to life on social — especially on short-form video platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube shorts. What will I be doing? This is a hands-on, creator-led, execution-heavy role for someone who understands educators and loves turning real classroom moments into engaging short-form content. You’ll work closely with our B2B Marketing Lead, who will set overall strategy and direction, while you bring ideas to life through consistent, high-quality content and performance-driven iteration. Own and create short-form social content for Knowt’s educator brand across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Shorts Take content from concept → script → shoot → edit → post → iterate, with an emphasis on speed and authenticity Translate real classroom moments, teacher workflows, and educator pain points into content that feels relatable and useful Jump on relevant trends and remix them in ways that resonate with teachers and instructional leaders Collaborate cross-functionally to highlight new features, community moments, conferences, and teacher wins Engage directly with educators through comments, DMs, and mentions Review performance metrics and refine content based on what drives engagement and growth Compensation: Base Pay: $500-$1500 per month $50-$3000 view-based bonus per post Requirements Availability to work 10-20 hours per week with the ability to post 20-25 short-form videos per month An educator, former educator, or someone with significant experience working closely with teachers US-based (no visa sponsorship) 1-2 years experience in social media marketing.
