Senior Product Manager - Growth

KitAnywhereFull-time
View Job
Compensation$173K - 173K a year

Own and evolve growth initiatives, run hypothesis-driven experiments, and improve key growth metrics. | 6-9+ years in product management, experience with growth metrics, experimentation, and cross-functional influence. | Kit is an email-first operating system for creators who mean business. We help creators grow and monetize their audience with ease. For coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters, and other creatives, there isn't a better marketing hub to rely on to grow audiences, automate email marketing, and sell digital products — all within one platform. More importantly, there isn't a team more committed to helping creators earn a living. We're on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using our creator marketing platform. We have always been 100% independent and 100% remote. We are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we look for people who have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values to join our team. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next. The role Growth at Kit isn't a side function - it's core to our product strategy. We're looking for a Senior Product Growth Manager to drive high-impact growth initiatives across activation, monetization, and expansion that help creators succeed faster and more predictably. This role is about building durable growth systems that compound over time, not one-off tactics. You'll own key growth surfaces end-to-end - from identifying opportunities to shipping experiments to scaling what works. This is a full-time senior IC role ideal for someone who thrives on measurable impact, enjoys hypothesis-driven experimentation, and is excited to shape how growth systems work at a scaling company. Your support system You'll report to Katie Swett Miller, our Chief Product Officer and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Lifecycle teams. You'll partner across functions to ensure alignment between product experiences and go-to-market efforts, while having access to a peer group of Product Managers across Kit for support and mentorship. What you'll do First Week: Dive into Kit's product ecosystem, growth metrics dashboards, and current experimentation framework. Attend Get-To-Know-You (GTKY) meetings with cross-functional partners. Get access and learn key tools like Linear, Mixpanel, Omni, and our experimentation platform. First Month: Analyze onboarding flows and activation funnels to understand current conversion patterns. Review past experiments and their outcomes. Present your observations and opportunity areas to the team. First Six Months: Own and evolve your product-led growth roadmap with at least 3-5 shipped experiments. Lead hypothesis-driven tests that reduce friction in key workflows. Partner with Data to establish clear success metrics and translate insights into product decisions. Successfully improve a core growth metric (activation, conversion, or expansion). First Year: Drive measurable improvement across Kit's growth funnel through systematic experimentation and scaled solutions. Build durable growth systems that contribute meaningfully to Kit's 2025 revenue target and our long-term vision of $100,000,000 ARR from 250,000 creators. Establish yourself as a trusted growth product leader whose work compounds over time. What will S.E.T. you up for success Skills Product-led growth expertise (funnel optimization, experimentation, conversion) Data-informed decision making and quantitative analysis Hypothesis development and experiment design Strong product judgment and prioritization Systems thinking and building for scale Cross-functional influence and collaboration Clear written and verbal communication Experiences 6-9+ years in product management with significant ownership of growth metrics (activation, conversion, retention, expansion) Proven track record driving measurable product-led growth in consumer or prosumer products Deep experience with experimentation frameworks and funnel analysis Led growth initiatives from opportunity identification through scaled impact Partnered closely with data science or analytics teams Exposure to platform or lifecycle growth loops Traits High ownership and autonomy in ambiguous environments Comfort balancing short-term wins with long-term platform health Systems thinker who builds foundations, not just features Low ego, strong collaborator who influences without authority Intellectually curious with a bias toward learning Clear communicator who can articulate strategy, tradeoffs, results at multiple levels Customer-focused while maintaining business discipline What won't set you up for success Seeking highly structured environments with predetermined solutions Preferring tactics over systems thinking Needing extensive direction to identify opportunities Discomfort with data-driven decision making and experimentation Prioritizing features shipped over outcomes achieved Difficulty distinguishing signal from noise in ambiguous situations Working hours and location We're 100% remote with team members across the globe. We work mostly on East Coast time—so if you're based on the West Coast of the United States, Europe, or Asia, you might have a few early mornings or late evenings. We do our best to keep things reasonable, but a little time zone juggling comes with the territory. Compensation + perks + benefits Kit has standardized salaries based on position, no matter where you live. For this role, we're hiring at our level 4 ($173,000). Level is determined based on experience and our interview process. Perks + benefits include: Profit Sharing Kit equity 401k with a 5% match We cover up to $2,100 per month toward medical premiums, with dental and vision premiums fully covered. We offer Health Insurance plans through Aetna $2,000 equipment allowance for your first two years, $1,000 budget every following two years. Company-provided laptops are issued to every Kit team member and are not included in the equipment budget Individual learning + development budget ($3,500/year) Gender affirming benefits Childcare benefit up to $3,000 annually Twenty (20) days of paid time off during each year of employment Paid paid vacation: An after-tax bonus of $1,000 for taking five consecutive days of vacation where you’re fully unplugged from work Ten (10) paid holidays a year Two weeks of paid sick time each year, including mental health + well being days Twelve (12) weeks paid parental leave and flexible scheduling in your child’s first year Up to six weeks of paid bereavement leave, medical leave, and disaster after six months of employment, two weeks of each paid leave in your first six months Winter Break Closure: Kit closes for a week at the end of December, giving everyone a collective break to enjoy the holiday season. Essential support services remain available, with teams coordinating to ensure coverage during this period Four-week, paid sabbatical after five years with the team Fantastic in-person or virtual retreats with the team twice a year How to apply We usually receive a large number of applications, and our goal is to follow up with you within two weeks. You’ll hear from us either way. Here’s what you can expect from the rest of our hiring process: A phone screen with our recruiter Hiring manager interview Take-home assignment Panel interview with cross functional stakeholders Final interview We’ll keep you informed through every step. To get started, complete this application, including a cover letter and answers to the questions on the next page. We read every single application, and your cover letter and responses help put your experience into context. Kit is an equal opportunity employer We value diversity in all of its forms. Research tells us that applicants who are female or non-binary, as well as applicants who are people of color, are less likely to apply for roles they do not feel 100% qualified for. If you think you meet more than 50% of our requirements but fewer than 100% of them, please apply. We’re imperfect communicators, so think of our job postings as the starting point for discussion rather than proof that you shouldn’t apply. Build and optimize revenue operations systems, processes, and insights to enable scalable growth across sales, marketing, and customer success teams. | Deep expertise in HubSpot, revenue tech stack, data analysis, and experience in SaaS or subscription-based revenue operations. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next. The role We're looking for a Senior Revenue Operations Manager to build the systems, processes, and insights that enable our go-to-market teams to operate efficiently and drive predictable revenue growth across product tiers as we grow from $50 to $100M ARR. You will be Kit's first dedicated Revenue Operations hire, establishing the foundation for how we operate as we scale. You're a systems thinker who thrives on bringing order to complexity. Data is your north star, but you know how to translate insights into action. You're an expert in HubSpot and understand that technology is only as good as the processes and people behind it. You combine analytical rigor with practical execution and cross-functional influence. You partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to shape both the "what" and the "how." You thrive in ambiguity, take ownership, and elevate the teams around you. Your support system You'll report to Dave Altarescu, Chief Revenue Officer, working as his strategic partner in driving operational excellence across our revenue functions. You'll collaborate with our Sales & Migrations team (5 people), Marketing team (9 people), and Creator Growth and Deliverability team (11 people), as well as Product, CX, Kit Ads, Finance, and Data teams. You'll also have access to a network of operators across Kit for support and knowledge-sharing, and will start with a peer onboarding buddy who will help you navigate our systems, data landscape, and company culture. What you'll do First Week: Dive into our HubSpot instance and revenue tech stack, including Gong, Intercom, QuotaPath, and Omni. Understand our current CRM configuration, reporting infrastructure, and how data flows between systems. Map our product-led and sales-led growth motions. Take part in Get To Know You's to meet our distributed team and understand how revenue teams operate today. First Month: Work through your personal onboarding plan. Conduct a thorough audit of our revenue operations, identifying bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities as we scale our sales-led growth motion. Meet with stakeholders across Sales & Migrations, Marketing, Creator Growth and Deliverability, and Finance to understand their pain points and priorities. Document current processes and quick wins. Contribute to at least one process improvement or reporting enhancement. First Six Months: Establish yourself as the go-to expert for revenue analytics across the Growth Org, using Hubspot as the centralized hub for tracking the customer funnel. Work with the Marketing, Business Development and Sales teams to establish playbooks and optimize lead generation, routing, and attribution between PLG and sales-led motions. Work with the Sales and Migration team to build sales dashboards that create momentum and support productivity. Enable Creator Growth Managers to track and influence expansion opportunities, both through Creator Pro upsell and leveraging subscriber-tier thresholds. Drive adoption of new workflows across teams. Build trusted partnerships with revenue leaders. Present insights and recommendations that influence strategic decisions about our go-to-market approach. What will S.E.T. you up for success Skills Deep expertise with HubSpot, including administration, customization, workflow automation, and optimization across Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, and Service Hub Strong proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, Omni, or similar BI platforms Experience with revenue tech stack tools such as Gong (conversation intelligence), Intercom (customer communication), and other sales/marketing platforms Understanding of revenue metrics and operations fundamentals — from lead scoring and qualification to pipeline velocity to customer acquisition cost to expansion revenue Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations, with strong business acumen to understand how operational decisions impact revenue outcomes Clear and concise communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams Experiences Managing and optimizing HubSpot at scale, including data hygiene, workflow automation, integration management, and custom reporting Building dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making for sales, marketing, and leadership teams Working in environments with both product-led growth and sales-led growth motions, understanding the operational nuances of each Leading cross-functional projects that improved operational efficiency, data accuracy, or revenue predictability Working in high-growth SaaS or subscription businesses where you've had to build or scale revenue operations processes Championing solutions that demonstrated measurable impact on revenue metrics or operational efficiency Traits High agency and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across the organization Systems thinking mindset — you naturally see how pieces connect and can architect solutions that scale Strong interest in AI and eagerness to experiment with tools that make revenue operations more efficient and effective Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure to undefined problems — you're building something new here Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy, while maintaining perspective on the big picture Embraces learning with growth mindset and demonstrated ability to master new tools and processes quickly Nices to haves You will stand out with: Experience in creator economy, SaaS, or subscription businesses serving individual creators or small businesses Advanced HubSpot certifications (HubSpot Revenue Operations or similar) Proficiency with SQL for data analysis and custom reporting Background with sales compensation, commission tracking, or revenue recognition processes Familiarity with pricing strategy and packaging for tiered subscription models Background in both B2C and B2B go-to-market motions Experience working and closing deals as an Account Executive or Customer Success Manager What won't set you up for success Preferring to execute on established processes rather than building new systems from the ground up Being uncomfortable making decisions with incomplete data or in the absence of clear precedent Focusing purely on technical CRM configuration without understanding the business context and revenue impact Working in silos rather than partnering across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams Needing extensive direction and hand-holding rather than taking ownership and running with initiatives Viewing your role as "keeping the lights on" rather than proactively identifying and solving operational challenges Working hours and location We're 100% remote with team members across the globe. We have always been 100% independent and 100% remote. We are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we look for people who have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values to join our team. We expect this role to be 60% execution, 30% strategy, 10% internal collaboration. This role is perfect for an established creator who has built their own business through social media and understands the unique challenges and opportunities that creators face. You'll own Kit's social media strategy and execution while bringing authentic creator perspective to drive measurable business results. Attend Get-To-Know-You (GTKY) meetings with Marketing, Product, and Creator Success teams. Get access to social media management tools, design assets, and our brand guidelines. First Month: Complete a comprehensive social media audit and develop platform-specific content strategies. Shadow customer interviews to understand creator pain points and language. Present your 90-day social content calendar with clear growth and lead generation KPIs to the marketing team. First Six Months: Establish Kit as a trusted voice in the creator economy through consistent, valuable social content. Achieve measurable growth in followers and engagement across primary platforms. Implement social lead generation strategies that contribute to qualified pipeline. Launch at least one viral-worthy campaign that significantly expands our reach. First Year: You'll be instrumental in making Kit the go-to social media presence creators turn to for marketing education and inspiration. Essential support services remain available, with teams coordinating to ensure coverage during this period • Four-week, paid sabbatical after five years with the team • Fantastic in-person or virtual retreats with the team twice a year How to apply We usually receive a large number of applications, and our goal is to follow up with you within two weeks. You’ll hear from us either way. Here’s what you can expect from the rest of our hiring process: • A phone screen with our recruiter • Hiring manager screen • Work sample • A technical interview We’ll keep you informed through every step. Senior Software Engineer II - Ecosystem

KitAnywhereFull-time
View Job
Compensation$181K - 181K a year

Lead the evolution of the extensibility and automation platform including APIs, plugins, and developer tools to empower creators, while modernizing legacy systems and mentoring peers. | Senior full-stack engineer with deep Ruby on Rails and React expertise, leadership experience, ability to deliver well-tested, maintainable code, and strong communication skills. The role We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to lead the evolution of our extensibility and automation platform that powers how creators customize Kit to their unique needs. You'll be joining the Ecosystem team, which owns the Kit App Store, developer platform (APIs, plugins, webhooks, OAuth), and automation suite that enables creators to build sophisticated, automated marketing systems. We're a newly forming team tackling both legacy modernization and greenfield opportunities, so your enthusiasm for building resilient teams and transforming brown-field systems into elegant solutions is essential. You're a full-stack, product-minded engineer with deep expertise in Ruby on Rails and React, not content with just shipping features but playing the long game. You see our developer platform not as a technical requirement but as the foundation that empowers thousands of creators to extend Kit in ways we haven't imagined. You combine technical depth with leadership and extreme ownership, partnering closely with Product and Design to shape both the "what" and the "how". You thrive in ambiguity, take initiative without waiting for permission, and elevate everyone around you through your generosity and optimism. Most importantly, you understand that great developer experiences create compounding value: when we make it easier for others to build on Kit, we accelerate the entire creator ecosystem. Your support system You'll report to the Engineering Manager who leads the Ecosystem team, a cross-functional product team at Kit. You'll collaborate closely with a Product Manager, Product Designer, and peer Software Engineers. You’ll also have access to a group of Engineers across Kit for support and mentorship, and will start with a peer onboarding buddy who will help you navigate our systems and codebase. What you'll do • First Week: Dive into our codebase and extensibility and automation architecture. Set up your local environment and merge your first production code. Take part in Get To Know You's to meet our distributed team. • First Month: Work through your personal onboarding plan. Begin understanding how Kit App Store supports creators from small to large, and identify opportunities for improvement. Join team activities for planning, building, and measuring the experiences we ship to creators. Actively participate in code reviews, and contribute PRs weekly. • First Six Months: Lead and architect at least one major feature from ambiguous idea to launch. Transform our legacy codebase through strategic refactoring while applying systems thinking to enhance scalability and maintainability. Drive adoption of patterns and conventions that elevate team-wide technical standards. Ensure service reliability by participating in on-call rotations. Present at least one Lunch & Learn session. Actively mentor peers, and champion quality across our codebase. What will S.E.T. you up for success Skills • Deep expertise developing full-stack web applications using both Ruby on Rails and React, with a track record of owning features end to end • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested, performant, and accessible code that balances speed of delivery with long term maintainability with minimal guidance • Support strategic product decisions by anticipating business needs and translating them into technical solutions • Communicate highly effectively across Engineering, Product, and Design to maintain alignment and momentum across complex initiatives • Champion technical health through proactive monitoring, creating dashboards and alerting systems that identify issues early and drive systematic improvements • Ability to lead without authority, aligning teams on goals, trade-offs, and success criteria Experiences • Led major cross-team initiatives from ambiguous requirements to successful delivery with measurable business impact • Modernized and improved existing systems through hands-on brown-field development • Made data-driven decisions throughout the product development lifecycle • Worked transparently by sharing progress, learnings, and seeking feedback early and often • Delivered features that directly impacted customer success and business goals Traits • Model continuous growth while developing others through mentorship, code reviews, and deliberate knowledge sharing • Balance pragmatism with strategic thinking, creating clarity and momentum for teams in uncertainty • Champion creative execution by breaking down complex challenges into achievable steps others want to follow • Pioneer AI adoption strategies that thoughtfully balance experimentation with practical team enablement • Act as a force multiplier by building systems, tools, and knowledge-sharing practices that make the entire team more effective • Shape and champion solutions that deeply align with user needs, balancing technical excellence with product impact Nice to haves You will stand out if you have: • Designed and scaled frameworks used by developers, like RESTful API platforms with versioning or OAuth app scopes • Established thought leadership through conference talks, technical blogs, or significant OSS contributions • Built successful products or partnerships within the creator economy ecosystem What won't set you up for success • Struggling to operate in evolving problem spaces without established processes or guardrails • Preferring to work solo or stay purely technical • Needing full consensus or permission before moving forward • Uncomfortable with direct feedback culture (both giving and receiving) • Prioritizing technical perfection over pragmatic business solutions Working hours and location We're 100% remote with team members across the globe. We work mostly on East Coast time—so if you're based on the West Cost of the United States, Europe, or Asia, you might have a few early mornings or late evenings. We do our best to keep things reasonable, but a little time zone juggling comes with the territory. Compensation + perk + benefits Kit has standardized salaries based on position, no matter where you live. For this role, we’re hiring at our level P4 ($181,000/year). Level is determined based on experience and our interview process. Perks + benefits include: • Profit Sharing • Kit equity • 401k with a 5% match • We cover up to $1,950 per month toward medical premiums, with dental and vision premiums fully covered. Essential support services remain available, with teams coordinating to ensure coverage during this period • Four-week, paid sabbatical after five years with the team • Fantastic in-person or virtual retreats with the team twice a year How to apply We know that most people hate interviewing (we relate!). We aim to make it as good of an experience as we can, and part of that includes keeping you informed during the process. Here’s what you can expect from the process: • A phone screen with our recruiter • Hiring manager interview • Work sample • A technical interview • Technical execution and leadership interview We’ll keep you informed through every step. To get started, complete this application, including a cover letter and answers to the questions on the next page.
