Role Responsibilities: Responsible for generation, oversight and execution of all supply planning, scheduling and purchasing activities & procedures for finished goods, semi-finished goods and raw materials (API, excipients, packaging components). Development of long term finished goods supply plans by the Planning team supporting the consensus demand plan. Identifying key risks and opportunities associated with the supply plans and developing recommendations to optimize the use of resources while achieving customer service objectives and optimizing inventory within the S&OP process. Presenting key assumptions, risks and opportunities to the VP/GM of Kindeva Injectables business in the monthly Supply meeting Responsible for development and maintenance of the production schedule required to support the supply plan, considering production resource limitations as required. Monitor schedule adherence and attainment ensuring on-time production of finished goods to support the supply plan Communicates with Production Supervisors, Maintenance, and Engineering to identify manpower, equipment and facility constraints associated with achieving schedule attainment and track production progress, and resource loading/ capacity Collaborates with finance and production to develop, enhance and maintain processes necessary to ensure Kindeva achieves absorption expectations Support and incorporate continuous improvement initiatives into the Master Production Schedule. Works with R & D, Scale Up, and Operations on new product launches. Responsible for supporting new product launch and technical transfer activities as the supply chain primary point of contact. Collaborate with the Client Project Management Organization, MS&T, Operations, Quality, and commercial teams to develop forecasts for new product launches Generate supply plans to support new product forecasts and plan engineering batches, qualification runs and media fills as necessary Facilitate the creation of new item numbers and support the supplier qualification process Responsible for optimizing direct material and production supplies cash flow and inventory investment, considering safety stock guidelines, contractual requirements, and supplier constraints. Development of net inventory projection incorporating raw materials, intermediates and finished goods. Review raw material and intermediate expiration dates and optimize consumption of materials and minimize expiring material Identifying key risks and opportunities associated with achieving net inventory objectives and develop recommendations to optimize working capital Collaborate with finance to support the monthly inventory reserve process Oversee the inventory destruction authorization process working with finance, QA, production and warehouse teams Support and incorporate continuous improvement initiatives into the Master Responsible for implementing and tracking KPI’s, including, but not limited to, forecast accuracy, inventory, schedule attainment and back orders. Track, monitor and present KPI performance on a monthly basis in the S&OP process Investigate root cause and corrective actions and drive continuous improvement in KPI performance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, science, engineering, other related programs 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with CDMO experience preferred Prior supply planning, scheduling, or other supply chain experience preferred Continuous improvement / lean six sigma experience preferred California residents should review our Notice for California Employees and Applicants before applying. Developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings. | Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, negotiation, and familiarity with ERP systems. | OUR WORK MATTERS At Kindeva we make products that save lives, ensuring better health and well-being for patients around the world ROLE SUMMARY This is an exciting opportunity as a Category Manager, Professional Services to development and execution of overall strategy including opportunity analysis, strategic sourcing project management, identification and achievement of savings targets, value capture administration, and supplier management strategy. Leads all global Procurement efforts across the Corporation on Professional Services (including financial services, legal services, consulting, marketing and human resources). This position may be required to cover the Director of Indirect Procurement when unavailable. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES • Collate internal stakeholder, supplier, market, category and internal business data and information for the assigned categories in scope and provide in-depth input and validation to the global Category Strategy, including facilitating involvement of senior stakeholders. • Work with regional/ country Procurement and the wider business to ensure the effective execution of category strategies and local negotiations, as necessary. • Ensure alignment with Finance business partners throughout the value opportunity assessment and execution process. • Formulate and drive Strategic Sourcing projects. • Function as Category Lead in delegated Supplier Relationship Management meetings (including setting goals, meetings and providing performance feedback). • Create detailed negotiation plans and conduct effective negotiations. • Identify and drive cost-savings opportunities. • Obtain tiered pricing wherever possible for unit volume ranges. • Manage strategic supplier relationships, including support of key supplier performance management systems (scorecards), associated supplier performance review schedules and reporting of supplier performance against goals. • Minimize working capital of the Corporation using a variety of strategies such as leasing agreements and extended payment terms. • Develops and reports a rolling 1-3 year pipeline of sub-category initiatives and opportunities (Savings / Productivity / Risk Management / Innovation). • Generate business cases to record projects which create value for the Corporation. • Establish and maintain a Communication Plan for information flows to and from all stakeholders. • Ensure sourcing is conducted on a global scale to create value from suppliers. • Minimize the total costs of ownership within the Category Strategies whilst maximizing Value to the Corporation. • Utilize eSourcing in the relevant circumstances to drive Value for the Corporation. • Conduct training in Procurement tools and techniques to those in the Corporation who require it. • Travel: 0 – 15% of time. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Recognized Qualification in Procurement e.g. CIPS, or MBA. • Bachelor’s Engineering Degree or higher. • A minimum of 5 years in Procurement with a background in supply chain management or manufacturing. • Experience in eSourcing and running eRFP, eRFI, eRFP, forward and reverse auctions. • Practical knowledge of analytical techniques in Procurement. • In depth knowledge of Category Management and Strategic Sourcing. • Leading experience and knowledge in negotiation preparation and execution. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Project and AO or Visio. • Exceptional time management, organization and prioritization skills. • Effective communication, analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. • Solid working knowledge of ERP in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Oracle or SAP and MRP is an advantage. • Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry experience is desirable but not required. #LI-Remote California residents should review our Notice for California Employees and Applicants before applying.
