Responsibilities Manage, lead, and expand practice teams for multi-discipline projects and programs of work in the fields of Land Development. Apply an entrepreneurial spirit to create a vision for growth in the local Land Development practice and beyond Leadership responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operating with integrity and sound business principals Providing vision, business planning, strategy and establishing goals Building and maintaining positive client relationships Having open communication with your partners and team Growing and leading a Land Development practice Management responsibilities include but are not limited to: Establishing and cultivating client relationships Making presentations Writing proposals and scope of work Establishing budgets Ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables, and supervising the execution of work Our Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor Qualifications 10+ years of civil engineering, design, and management of Land Development projects Bachelor's Degree Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D Business development skills, proven ability to win work, and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization Ability to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive manner Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably Why Kimley-Horn?
