Role Description The Market Sales Manager has responsibility for the Minneapolis territory, focused on Distribution Partners, A&D firms, and end users resulting in the achievement of profitable quota attainment. This position reports to the Regional Sales Director. Responsibilities • Manage the territory through developing, implementing and managing business strategies that align with the company’s sales programs and strategies. • Develop, manage, and review territory business plans that will result in the meeting and exceeding of the territory sales quota. • Effectively develop, manage, and evaluate territory distribution grid on an on-going basis. • Develop and communicate plans to support company target markets (including vertical markets). • Understand day-to-day business as well as project business while developing strategies to grow. • Build and maintain relationships with appropriate customers including distribution partners, A&D community as well as end users to support the territory sales goals. • Gain proficient knowledge and use of all business support materials (i.e. all available reports surrounding dealers, dealer sales reps, products, vertical markets, etc) as well as other technical support products critical to tracking and forecasting sales and developing sales tactics and strategies to address opportunities. • Learn and apply knowledge of company products and marketing programs throughout daily business practice. • Train and motivate dealer salespeople and management. • Learn and apply sales negotiation and business planning knowledge throughout daily operations to support a business consulting role to customers within the marketplace. • Exercise initiative and creativity in the selling and marketing of Workplace ancillary products and programs. • Work to promote a cohesive relationship with team members and internal support staff. • Proven history or ability to demonstrate safe / responsible behavior, and a positive performance record (including attendance) • Maintain SalesForce(CRM) for accurate forecasting Skills To Perform This Role Interpersonal Skills • Support team interaction • Energetic, self-starter • Strive for personal excellence with individual contribution to team results • Passionate, dedicated, reliable, insightful & genuine • People person, upbeat & positive outlook Communication Skills • Demonstrate strong and consistent communication skills with Workplace team, customers, distribution partners and A&D firms • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills • Effective listening skills • Effectively handle conflict and support companywide programs and policies. Role Description The Health Sales Manager will be responsible for key identified focused markets where we have proven success and opportunity to grow health. The Health Sales Manager in partnership with the KII Sales Band Team will collaborate and align with the health end user community as well as the health A&D community in the key identified focused markets. This person reports to the Regional Sales Director. Roles And Responsibilities • Work in partnership with all Sales Band Team members to build a strategy on how to best target each identified focused market to drive increased health revenue. • Identify health accounts within focused markets. • Develop a relationship at the end user level within each health account in the identified focused markets. • Meetings with the end users including the Sales Band Team. • Consistent communication with Sales Band Team. • Activate showrooms in assigned focused markets. • Health Sales Manager to pull in other Health resources when needed (Health Trade Marketing Manager, Health A&D Manager, Design Strategist, Federal Health Sales Manager) • Bring health knowledge, insight and expertise to the conversation and opportunity when it makes sense and brings value to the opportunity. • The Health Sales Manager will participate in approved trade shows and serve as the health vertical market expert. • Responsible for utilizing sufficient sampling to properly promote Kimball International Brands. • Responsible for selling all Kimball International products into healthcare accounts. • Educating our distribution partners on both healthcare opportunities and resources available to be successful within the health vertical. • Operate within sampling and T&E budgets. • Working in partnership with the MSMs to support forecasting for health opportunities. • Identify and service the A&D Community within health opportunities. • Maintain necessary communication with the Regional Sales Director Skills To Perform This Role Leadership • Ability to collaborate and partner with different types of people. • Assertive, self-starter with the self-confidence to deliver results with little supervision and working through others to achieve results. • Ability to manage conflict and work to a resolution. • Strong presentation skills and experience addressing large groups/ key influencers. • Can do attitude with a demonstrated ability to get things done under minimal supervision. • Willingness to take personal responsibility for the outcomes resulting from his/her judgment, guidance, and decisions. • Ability to exercise independent judgment in method, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
