From bid phase to project delivery, you’ll be the go-to for driving requirements activities—often with minimal supervision. Location This position is located in our Lone Tree, CO location, with flexibility for travel to and from the US and Canada. Responsibilities Serve as the Requirements Manager for Infrastructure projects in the conceptual, preliminary, and final design for complex infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: • Work with a team in providing systems engineering & integration requirements responsibilities and oversight for infrastructure projects involving multiple systems and sub systems. • Responsible for managing all requirement management activities using either Helix ALM, IBM Doors Suite of tools, JAMA Connect or similar. • Deployment and application of Kiewit standard processes and tools • Requirement Management tool deployment according to project / customer requirements • Training and support process and tools for the project team • Owner of the Requirements Management Plan and Requirements Traceability Matrix demonstrating the solution compliancy to contract requirements through requirement traceability through all phases of the project life cycle • Working with the configuration and change management personnel at the project level • Working with Interface management and support creation of System Breakdown Structure, Interface Register and Interface Control Documents • Support Systems Safety and Assurance group • Perform Technical Risk Assessments on jobs the district is pursuing • Establish and maintain a systematic, documented, comprehensive, and KPI’s through projects Qualifications • Undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management or a related degree or comparable work experience. • Licensed Professional Engineer in US/Canada preferred. • 10+ years' experience in all aspects of managing commercial construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcomes. • Minimum 8+ years’ of progressive work and project experience and thorough understanding of the following, but not limited to; • Infrastructure system design, construction, testing and commissioning • Understanding and experience in Requirements Management Principles and processes applied in Infrastructure Design and construction • Demonstrable understanding of the Configuration and Change Management Principles • Knowledgeable in standards such as AREMA, MIL-STD, IEEE and EN • Demonstrable knowledge, understanding and use in HELIX ALM, DOORS, JAMA or similar Requirement Management Tools • Engineering Concepts, including Design, Verification & Validation, and System • Basic to intermediate understanding of other systems and subsystems associated with infrastructure projects. • Membership with active participation in professional organizations such as AREMA or APTA is desirable. • Proven track record of managing teams, setting performance goals, and delivering timely results in a fast-paced environment. • Work independently as well as part of a team • Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done • Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies • Effective oral and written communication skills • Strong organization/time management skills PREFERRED SKILLS • INCOSE Certification is preferred • Understanding of construction means and methods, including familiarity with industry standards, practices, and regulations is required. • Experience in design and/or construction management of major infrastructure projects is preferred. #LI-MD1 Other Requirements: • Regular, reliable attendance • Work productively and meet deadlines timely • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment • Perform work safely and effectively.
