Status Exempt General Summary Under the direction of Digital Technology Management, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the daily operations of Kia America business-to-business (B2B) enterprise systems including employee, dealer and consumer facing systems. Solves business problems by analyzing requirements; designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols. The Business Systems Analyst works closely with various business units and IT service providers to devise optimal solutions for various short-term and long-term enhancements, bug fixes, implement changes, and functional requirements to technical specifications. This position will also provide valuable insights for optimizing user experiences, leveraging best enterprise system practices, creating program governance, and guiding stakeholders through program innovation strategy, risk analysis, and systems integration. This position provides operational and functional administration of the enterprise systems to leverage efficiencies between systems and processes to support the evolving business needs of Kia America (KUS) and retailer network. This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of business requirements, solution scope, testing, training, business support, key performance indicators and data analysis for continuous process improvements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1st Priority - 30% Support B2B enterprise systems and projects in support of company’s short-term and long-term business strategy. Works with key business and IT stakeholders in implementing systems solutions and integrating best practices into technology platform. Ensures overall health of the enterprise system to best support business priorities, internal and external stakeholders, and provides Level 2 systems support. 2nd Priority - 25% Perform business requirements analysis within the context of internal and external facing systems and content management systems; Assists in the development of best practices to improve business processes, system solutions, business intelligence, workflow and process flow diagrams. 3rd Priority - 25% Defines project requirements and support business users throughout the project life cycle including scope definition, design review and User Acceptance Testing. Monitors project progress, resolve project issues, publish progress reports and recommending actions to remediate risks. 4th Priority - 20% Oversee the life cycle of changes to business systems and maintain detailed documentation. Performs adhoc data analysis and create reports for business users. Qualifications/Education • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Experience in Automotive CRM or customer journey process is preferred. • Advanced degree and/or certification(s) is preferred in Business Analysis, Project Management, Information Technology or Digital Transformation. • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification preferred. Job Requirement Overall Experience: • 5 years of Business Systems Analysis experience and at least 2 years of experience in technology such as SQL, Power BI (Business Intelligence) or Tableau. Directly Related Experience: • Minimum 2 years of prior experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud required. • Experience with cloud-based Content Management platforms is desired. • Prior experience in supporting and collaborating with the business and external vendors on implementing digital sales and marketing projects. • Exposure to Project Life Cycle Management and Systems Development Life Cycle. Status Exempt General Summary A key participant in dealer Business Management systems and reporting, the Analyst is responsible to assist with and monitor dealer financial and performance analysis. This begins with the Dealer’s submission and accuracy of monthly financial statements, along with accurate dealer database information. The Analyst’s duties will include significant financial statement analysis, relevant data analytics, system audits, and dealer reporting to ensure compliance of the Accounting Manual and Kia operating standards. The Analyst will prepare monthly reports, executive presentations, ad hoc analysis, and independent industry research. The analyst will communicate with dealers on financial statement related items, operational compliance and overall performance. The Analyst will assist with Retail Development Department monthly cycle of accounting, billing, requisition and the annual dealer business plan submissions. This is a highly visible role that serves as a key liaison between the dealer network and our internal leadership teams. The Analyst must possess exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage professionally across all levels of the organization, be well organized, detail-oriented and have a natural curiosity for cause-and-effect on business performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1st Priority - 35% Support Dealers (Controllers/Business Managers) to submit accurate and on time monthly financial statements, which will in turn lead to database maintenance, KPI tracking, and monitoring dealer compliance to agreements and operating guidelines. Analyst will pro-actively call on dealers, to solicit outstanding financial statements, correct deficient reporting and advise on the Accounting Manual. Will require knowledge of the Business Management System, GAAP and the main functions of the dealership accounting reporting and close process. 2nd Priority - 25% Work across the department and cross departmentally to ensure accurate and current dealer records. Assist management to improve the accuracy of financial reporting by employing simple account audits and review system validations. Track and monitor specific dealer’s or dealer group’s performance and provide recommendations. Assist in identifying and developing areas for improvement in KUS Accounting Manual, Financial Statement, Operating Guidelines and the Business Plan/Pro Forma. 3rd Priority - 20% Perform data analysis, industry research (benchmarks) and reporting support for accurate and timely monthly financial reports and insightful performance analysis summaries as needed. Employ correlation analysis to determine KUS’s policies and program (as well as market conditions) effect on dealer performance and profitability 4th Priority - 15% Actively participate in Retail Development monthly accounting cycle for budget management, dealer billing, requisitions, vendor payment and program tracking. Provide planning and logistical execution support for various meetings and events as needed. Assist management with ad hoc administrative support, such as mail merge, record maintenance, process and procedures documentation, and updates to dealer 5th Priority - 10% Respond to legal discoveries and request for composite statements and other dealer performance records. Qualifications/Education Education: • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related major from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience required Overall Related Experience: • Minimum three to five years in accounting or financial analysis experience. • Automotive industry experience preferred (OEM or Retailer). Status Exempt General Summary Kia North America Ownership Experience - Product Quality team aims to represent the voice of the North American customer in identification of vehicle quality concerns and development of countermeasures for Kia America’s vast dealership network. This team collaborates with engineering groups in North America and Korea to turn this goal into reality. The Data Analytics Supervisor will utilize data to develop models to support Product Quality Engineers in improving vehicle quality by developing models to determine potential emerging quality concerns. This position will also support the improvement of existing systems and analysis methods, as well as collaborate with IT affiliates and outside vendors as necessary to maintain and enhance Product Quality’s data systems. This individual should have a strong programming background, and a critical thought process to troubleshoot issues and find solutions. This individual should be a self-starter, able to work independently with minimal direction and oversight, and deliver and communicate solutions which meet Product Quality’s business needs.
