Lead a small data engineering team while spending at least half time on hands-on data engineering tasks using Azure and SQL technologies. | Must have Azure and SQL experience, preferably Databricks, prior healthcare experience, and leadership as a team lead, mentor, or manager. | We are working with a growing healthcare company that is hiring for a Data Engineer Manager. This job is fully remote and open to candidates in the Central and Eastern time zones. They are open to Team Lead profile candidates. The initial salary for this role to start out is up to $150,000/yr making it ideal fit for someone stepping into their first manager role in Data Engineering. This is a "player - coach" role leading a small team, while also spending at least half time hands on. The candidate must have good Azure and SQL experience with databricks preferred. Our ideal candidates would bring prior healthcare and some prior leadership as a Team Lead, Mentor or Manager. We recently filled two other roles with this company and they're motivated to hire to support ongoing growth that is being fueled by organically and through PE-backed acquisitions.
