The District Manager has overall responsibility for leading and developing a sales team that drives high impact customer interactions, yielding strong sales performance in an ethical and compliant manner. The District Manager will have responsibility for staffing and developing their team. Job Responsibilities • Recruits and selects team members (Neuroscience Sales Representatives) and oversees their training and development. Shares learnings, information, and best practices with appropriate internal stakeholders. • Sets ambitious performance and productivity objectives that support the achievement of business objectives as well as meeting or exceeding DM field deliverables. • Provides consistent feedback and coaching to direct reports to enhance their scientific and disease state expertise in order to improve the impact of their customer interactions. • Expected to provide daily coaching by completing field coaching summaries leading to effective mid-year and annual feedback discussions with direct reports. • Leads team in strategic analyses of their geography; uncovering key opportunities for growth and adapting activities to fit local dynamics. Uses analytical framework to identify business opportunities and helps the sales team incorporate new perspectives and ideas. Effectively and efficiently manages resource allocation, including trade-off decisions across customers and representatives. For select HCP/Accounts, leads/coordinates with customer team to develop customer strategy. • Works with the Regional Sales Director to develop and maintain local business plans that ensures achievement of all KPI goals and delivery on all sales objectives. You will be responsible for: • Develop, implement and maintain a medical education repository for the purposes of internal training specific to heart failure, cardiomyopathy, cardiogenic shock, advanced therapeutics including both temporary and durable VAD, and the utilization of Impella blood pumps (CP, RP Flex and 5.5) in heart failure patient populations. • Develop, implement and maintain course curriculum specific to cardiac imaging techniques used in diagnosing and ongoing evaluation of cardiogenic shock and heart failure, with specific emphasis on echocardiography. • Build and deliver field education in collaboration with peers globally throughout Americas, EMFA, APAC, and Japan to ensure uniform training, education, support and messaging on the accurate use and management of Abiomed product portfolio in advanced heart failure patients. • Liaise with the Office of Medical Affairs as a direct-line of clinical support to the Abiomed field team for clinical troubleshooting in advanced heart failure patient populations. • Serve as a commercial resource and force multiplier to the Abiomed field team allowing for direct customer engagement through clinical discussions and presentations to drive utilization and adoption including site specific plan development to target growth, implement best practices and optimize patient outcomes. • Attend and support major national and international conferences and ensure dissemination of messaging regarding paradigm shifts in clinical management, new data, best practices, and emerging trends to the Commercial Field and Global Clinical Training Organization. • Serve as a core member and contributor in new product launches and commercial indication expansions (ExCEL). • Work closely with cross-functional partners in Global Marketing, Professional Education and Field Enablement to further develop value added strategies, tools, training initiatives and services focused on Impella use in heart failure cardiogenic shock. Qualifications/Requirements: • A minimum of 5+ years of past clinical experience with cardiogenic shock and advanced heart failure patients • 2+ years of direct clinical management of, or direct bedside care of advanced heart failure critical care patients • 2+ years of direct clinical management or care of patients supported by temporary mechanical circulatory support (Impella heart pumps and/or ECMO) • 1+ year direct clinical experience with Impella CP and Impella 5.5 • Expert-level competency in cardiovascular pathophysiology • Superior verbal and written communication skills. Position Overview The Senior Graphic Designer is an artistic-minded and strategically grounded individual that is responsible for improving Shockwave’s brand experience and resonance through powerful creative. They are self-sufficient, capable of leading projects, reviewing the work of less-experienced team members and leading projects with internal and external partners. They will work collaboratively with the brand strategy, product marketing, professional education, market access and conference leads to ensure that compelling, visually-impactful content resonates with customers through our channels in a timely and consistent manner. Essential Job Functions The successful senior graphic designer candidate will… • Be responsible for creative designed to communicate the Shockwave IVL and Shockwave Reducer stories, managing graphic design from conception to delivery. • Lead in the development and execution of campaigns to support product launches, including print, web, e-blasts, digital templates and digital advertising (e.g., display and social). • Produce creative collateral for use at conferences and tradeshows as well as designs for booths and displays. • Develop and/or refine various brand identities – e.g., for products or internal initiatives. • Work in tandem with other members of the creative team on larger projects to maintain consistency and ensure all work is completed on schedule. • Aid in testing creative and brand experience with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. • Support creative needs of cross-functional teams, including HR, Sales, Ops, and R&D. • Collaborate with a cadre of contractors and agencies that can support our content and branding needs. • Assist in Shockwave’s brand integration with Johnson & Johnson MedTech. • Help with developing PowerPoint presentations and templates. • Lead internal & external creative team members as needed. The anticipated salary range for this position is 114,000.00 - 229,000.00 The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
