We are seeking a driven Financial Analyst to own inventory analytics and SLOB (slow‑moving & obsolete inventory) mitigation strategies. In this high‑impact role, you’ll combine hands‑on accounting with strategic analysis and process innovation to transform inventory performance across the business and, in partnership with the U.S. Supply Chain Finance Manager, support attainment of cash‑flow targets. The ideal candidate is eager to develop and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with commercial, supply chain, and planning teams to ensure coordinated decision-making and consistent execution of inventory objectives. All employees are responsible for ensuring compliance to Sarbanes Oxley requirements and supporting compliance processes. You are also required to enforce all company guidelines, policies and procedures related to Health, Safety and Environmental, and ensure personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local regulations. Responsibilities: • Lead inventory and SLOB analysis: aging, velocity, cycle counts, and SKU-level profitability to identify at-risk inventory. • Develop and execute SLOB mitigation strategies (liquidation, rework, price adjustments, demand shaping) and quantify financial impact. • Prepare and post month-end journal entries related to inventory adjustments, reserves, and cost center allocations. • Reconcile balance sheet inventory accounts (inventory GL, SLOB reserves, accruals, intercompany) and maintain audit-ready supporting schedules. • Reconcile cost variances to budget/forecast, investigate drivers, and present recommendations to reduce adverse variances. • Build and maintain models and dashboards to track inventory KPIs (SLOB %, days inventory outstanding, inventory turns, reserve accuracy). • Communicate findings and recommended actions to finance leadership and business stakeholders, support implementation and measure outcomes. • Manage external manufacturing partnerships with Supply Chain Finance Manager and perform monthly invoice reconciliations against Master Purchasing Agreements. • Drive process improvements and automation (e.g., standard work, templates, reporting cadence, system enhancements) to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort. The Advanced Heart Failure MCS Specialist will serve as a clinical liaison to the commercial organization with the goal of strengthening clinical acumen and capabilities of the Abiomed field primarily through training and education initiatives, while also driving business opportunities forward with Abiomed customers, clinician teams and physician champions. The Advanced Heart Failure MCS Specialist will be called upon to execute internal training events throughout the U.S., Canada and Global Markets as needed by the Global Training Organization. The Advanced MCS Education Team is a multidisciplinary team of clinical subject matter experts (SME) in complex patient populations requiring cardiothoracic Advanced Therapies: Ventricular assists device (VAD), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and/or organ transplantation. The Advanced MCS Specialist applies their knowledge of disease state/pathophysiology, unique patient populations and broad MCS therapy expertise with the Global Abiomed product portfolio to provide masters-level clinical education, support, consultation, and training to both internal (Abiomed Field and Corporate) as well as to Abiomed's customers. The Advanced MCS Education Team strategically partners with regional and global cross-functional teams in field operations, product training, engineering, product management, professional education and marketing to inform on clinical issues to aid in the execution of business goals. Qualifications/Requirements: • A minimum of 5+ years of past clinical experience with cardiogenic shock and advanced heart failure patients • 2+ years of direct clinical management of, or direct bedside care of advanced heart failure critical care patients • 2+ years of direct clinical management or care of patients supported by temporary mechanical circulatory support (Impella heart pumps and/or ECMO) • 1+ year direct clinical experience with Impella CP and Impella 5.5 • Expert-level competency in cardiovascular pathophysiology • Superior verbal and written communication skills. The Head, Lifecycle Management is accountable for the lifecycle of products for the MSAT advanced therapies organization. This role provides technical and strategic leadership in support of a broad set of technology initiatives to enable new product manufacturing modalities, manufacturing technology, process control, process understanding, facility design, and network strategy. They are responsible for leading global cross-functional and cross-sector teams to develop and implement high value technical solutions for growth, reliability, compliance and efficiency of product value chains end-to-end through cutting edge solutions and insights. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Own the advanced therapies product technology roadmaps; lead cross-functional and cross-sector teams in the strategic development of high value solutions required to achieve goals in technology, science, facilities, processes and products • Lead product roadmap business planning strategies in partnership with value chain and manufacturing platforms across a matrix of functions to define and advance business process models, lead change with positive energy • Lead a team of technical product owners to ensure deep product and process understanding is scaled across advanced therapies platform and that robust and reliable manufacturing process are in place across the advanced therapies manufacturing network • Translates strategic product roadmaps to detailed execution plans for programs in order to deliver on target outcomes to enhance the lifecycle of the product. • Oversee implementation in partnership with DPDS of life cycle management, new technology and automation projects across manufacturing sites to improve robustness, scalability and cost of goods/cycle time/right first time for products, delivering measurable impact • Ensure technical and manufacturing requirements are addressed throughout the lifecycle of new solutions • Drive continuous improvement and foster an operational excellence culture to enhance productivity and efficiency of operations • Proactively align decision making with enterprise-wide strategy, evaluating short- and long-term goals against potential consequences • Champion data solutions throughout organization to ensure robust products and processes throughout the lifecycle of the products • Devise strategies and solutions to deliver on rapid growth ambitions of including enhancing reliability, compliance, efficiency of product value chains end-to-end including product life cycle management • Establish organizational capability build roadmap - defining current state to ideal state process, systems, data, and performance measures and ensure execution of fit-for-purpose training and learning occurs across the advanced therapies platform • Maintain a robust technical support network related to lifecycle management, new technologies, automation, comparability, change management, and tech transfers for products, including material science assessments, sourcing strategies, and critical to quality processes QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:: • University/Bachelors Degree in Science/Engineering or Equivalent with 12-14 Years Biotech/ Pharmaceutical experience or Masters/PhD degree in Engineering, with 10+ years Biotech/ Pharmaceutical experience or equivalent industry experience • Hands-on experience in Manufacturing Operations and/or R&D in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing setting (ie. cell/gene therapy products, vaccines, or any other advanced therapy products) • Experience leading technology transfer activities and technical services for cell/gene therapies • Excellent technical skills and problem-solving skills • Knowledgeable in manufacturing sciences, cGMP compliance, change management methodology and advanced therapies product regulatory and validation requirements • Knowledge of data analytics/statistics and process automation • Ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams in an international environment • Project-dependent travel #LI-Hybrid
