The Learning & Development Specialist will plan, organize, and manage training and development activities for all volunteers. Examples of projects include Recruitment workflow training, Recruitment tools training and partnering with operational leaders for their specific training needs. Create and manage content for JerseySTEM’s social media channels and develop content calendars. Engage with followers and find new content opportunities related to STEM education and volunteerism. | 1-2 years of related professional experience is required, with strong skills in copywriting and visual design. JerseySTEM is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to offering innovative opportunities and bridging the gender gap in STEM education for children in New Jersey’s underserved communities. We are dedicated to partnering with local schools, parents, and educators to create and enhance STEM-oriented educational opportunities for students in grades 5-8 as part of their paths towards college and career readiness. We provide free after-school, project-based, and hands-on structured programs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The Girls Who Code Partnership Coordinator is responsible for developing the partnership with Girls Who Code and managing the creation of clubs in JerseySTEM locations. This includes engaging with Club Advisors, entering rosters online, and ordering marketing supplies. | Candidates should have a genuine interest in addressing the STEM education gender gap and the ability to connect with school personnel and the partner organization. Experience with K-12 schools and comfort with digital tools is also important. | Overview This is a pro-bono volunteer position. JerseySTEM provides free after school STEM classes to underserved middle school girls grade 5-8. We partner with the Girls Who Code organization to create a club in every site we operate. The Girls Who Code partnership manager is responsible for developing the partnership with girls who code, administratively manage the cration or clubs in the JerseySTEM 18 clubs in the fall and 27 in the spring, This is a virtual position that supports in-person STEM enrichment programs for middle school girls/kids and needs to be available from 3 pm-5 pm ( Wednesday or Thursday) at least one weekday over a 12 week period of time. We are seeking a tech-savvy and innovative AI Agent Developer to join our volunteer team. This individual will design, implement, and optimize AI-powered agents using Large Language Models (LLMs) to help streamline access to internal organizational knowledge. Your work will directly support our 100% volunteer-powered team by improving how volunteers interact with and retrieve information from platforms like Google Drive, Salesforce, Slack, and Atlassian Jira. Responsibilities Develop and refine AI agents powered by Large Language Models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to support JerseySTEM's internal operations. Integrate AI tools with existing platforms (Google Workspace, Salesforce, Jira, Slack) to retrieve relevant knowledge, answer volunteer questions, and guide workflows. Create conversational flows, prompt chains, and context windows that allow volunteers to interact naturally with the AI agents. Maintain, test, and improve AI agents for accuracy, performance, and usability. Collaborate with the Operations, Technology, and Volunteer Onboarding teams to identify high-impact knowledge use cases. Document processes and provide training materials or onboarding instructions to help volunteers adopt the AI tools. Qualifications Experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Claude, or similar), prompt engineering, or AI agent frameworks. Familiarity with APIs or no-code/low-code tools for integrating AI with third-party platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make.com, Google Apps Script, Slack bots). The Internship Program Coordinator supports the management of JerseySTEM’s pool of 50+ interns by ensuring smooth onboarding, compliance with work requirements, and timely completion of exit documentation. This role works closely with the HR team to maintain consistency, organization, and clear communication throughout the intern lifecycle. Responsibilities Prepare and process intern exit documentation in a timely and organized manner. Monitor intern attendance, engagement, and compliance with work requirements. Communicate with interns and supervisors to address concerns or issues promptly. Assist with scheduling, tracking tasks, and maintaining intern records. Collaborate with HR leadership to improve processes and documentation standards. Qualifications Available for a team meeting on Mondays from 4:30pm-5:30pm Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Corporate Partnership Development Manager oversees the daily operations of the Corporate Partnership Development team, leading strategy and execution to align with JerseySTEM's mission. This role involves building relationships with organizations for financial support and tracking engagement strategies. | Candidates should have a genuine interest in addressing the STEM education gender gap and possess strong leadership skills. Experience with donor organizations and outreach is preferred, along with comfort in a virtual work environment. | Overview This is a pro-bono volunteer position. JERSEYSTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (“STEM”) education to 5th-8th grade girls in New Jersey underserved communities. We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underserved communities, and civic-minded college students and universities. Together we develop and deliver innovative, hands-on, and online after school projects and inquiry-based learning opportunities that develop teamwork, 21st-century problem-solving skills, and self-esteem. The Corporate Partnership Development Manager oversees the daily operations of the Corporate Partnership Development team at JerseySTEM. Leading a team of Development Leads and Senior Leads, this role involves strategy, collaboration, and execution to ensure that the department’s goals align with JerseySTEM's mission and objectives. Responsibilities The Team Lead will work closely with the DEVT Department head to develop and implement effective strategies for soliciting donations. Lead the Corporate Development Team to identify and engage with organizations interested in financially supporting JerseySTEM. Build and foster relationships with key personnel at organizations directly involved with dispersing of funds and community outreach activities. Help coordinate and attend events and activities involving Program Sponsors and Supporters. Track and report on the effectiveness of Corporate and other donor organization engagement strategies and adjust as needed to achieve program goals. Provide guidance and support to the Corporate Development Team, including training, mentoring, and performance management. Collaborate with strategic groups within JerseySTEM to improve operational efficiency.
