ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties will include, but are not limited to: Working with the commercial estimator & the team throughout the entirety of the project. Work from a scope as prepared by a Jenkins Commercial Estimator, plans, and execute the construction of commercial structures. Revises as appropriate to meet changing needs within timeline and budget. Identifies and manages resources and assigns as necessary. Provides detailed quality control via frequent project site visits. Negotiating the best contracts to ensure maximum profitability. Meets project deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously. Determining the necessary resources (time, cost, labor, materials) for each project. Reviews and inspects product on regular basis to ensure standards are being met. Minimizes Jenkins’ exposure to risk on projects. Manages budgets, schedules, and tracks project expenses. Hiring staff and contractors as necessary. Assessing the progress and performance of all workers involved. Obtaining relevant permits and licenses. Understands, interprets and relays building plans. Manages inspections process to ensure compliance with local/national codes and other building details. Performing detailed analyses and drawing up reports for relevant stakeholders. Runs OAC (owner, architect, contractor) meetings as required, with Support and involvement from the commercial estimator and applicable manager. Responsible for working with the estimator on invoicing and collection of funds as per contract. May perform other duties as necessary or assigned Client Management Manage communication after contract signing internally and with the client. Manages day to day client interaction. Set and manage client expectations. Communicate effectively with client to identify needs and evaluate solutions. Resolve or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has supervisory responsibilities. The Project Manager will supervise field personnel as necessary to complete work. The primary responsibility is serving as a Floating Branch-Level Water Mitigation Project Manager, stepping in to support branch operations during workload surges or staffing shortages.
