Create and manage UX and design-related content across multiple platforms, collaborating with design teams and leadership to produce compelling, precise, and timely materials. | 5-7 years of content creation experience, strong writing skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, familiarity with UX and product design, and proficiency with writing and office software. | Role: Sr. Writer, Design and UX Content Location: Dallas TX ( Hybrid role) As the Sr. Writer, Design and UX Content, you will join a lean but passionate Design Education and Enablement team this is responsible for creating a variety of content that showcases the work of the Experience Design teams and highlights the value creation-for Blue Yonder, its customers and end users-that UX enhancements and innovations deliver. With direction from senior design leaders, you will conceptualize, conceive, adapt and execute work in different forms, for website design, company presentations, educational collateral, and much more. You will collaborate with designers to produce compelling and highly usable content. You will play an integral role in the creative development of touch points. In this role, you will be able to combine a passion for great writing with an obsession for precision. What You Will Do • Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print • Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines and account for reviews • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content • Communicate and cooperate with content manager, editor, web publishers, and leadership • Help create and follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials • Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, presentations, educational collateral, videos, newsletters/announcements and blogs • Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results • Proofread and edit your own and others' work. • Help create guidelines and best practices where needed to scale the writing practice Qualifications • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience creating content across a variety of channels with an ability to work in a fast paced environment. • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio • Familiarity with Product design and UX, and enterprise software in supply chain industry, is a big plus • Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously • Strict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publication • Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary • Proficiency with writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Familiarity with product design/UX, supply chain industry, and enterprise software is a plus Synonym Tile: UX Designer #LI-SR1 #LI-LOCAL ------------------------------------------- The salary range for this position is: USD $114,103.81 - $143,896.18 The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position. In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products, such as Planning, Assortment, and Allocation as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations. You will be the functional liaison across stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution. What You'll Do • Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Retail Planning software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies • Apply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how the Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements/business processes, with regarding • Lead solution design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timeline • Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to our steady state associates • Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfaction • Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmaps • Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects • Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements What we are looking for • Minimum 6-10 years of demonstrable experience delivering Advanced Retail Planning solutions end-to-end in the retail industry is required • Demonstrable experience with the Blue Yonder Assortmentn Planning is required • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field is strongly preferred • Demonstrable experience conducting design sessions, interpreting business requirements and mapping to Retail Solution functionalities, performing system integration, and assisting with user acceptance testing and issue resolution • Experience implementing solutions that leverage Cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and SharePoint to manage professional documents and communications ------------------------------------------- The salary range for this position is: USD $99,208.00 - $143,896.00 The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.
