Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services and APIs in a microservices architecture. | 5+ years Java development experience with strong skills in Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and Agile methodologies. | Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, API development, and cloud technologies. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and high-performance software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications. • Build scalable and secure backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services. • Work with application architects and business teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions. • Implement software design patterns and follow object-oriented programming principles. • Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability. • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve defects and improve application quality. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Support CI/CD processes and production deployments. • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments. Required Skills & Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development. • Strong programming experience with Core Java, Java 8+ features, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling. • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security. • Strong experience designing and developing Microservices-based applications. • Experience developing REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, and XML integrations. • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and Data Structures. • Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server. • Experience with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub. • Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle. • Experience working in Agile development environments. Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Hands-on experience with: • Docker & Kubernetes • Jenkins / CI-CD pipelines • Kafka or other messaging platforms • Redis / caching technologies • API Gateway • Microservices design patterns • Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or JavaScript is a plus. • Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-native application development. • Experience with AI/GenAI integrations and LLM-based applications is a plus.
