Manage and maintain accurate, compliant medical records and provide administrative support in a healthcare setting. | Healthcare experience with strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and knowledge of medical records management. | JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Medical Records Management Specialist to join our growing healthcare team in Bridgewater, NJ. Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medical records, ensuring documentation accuracy, maintaining confidentiality, and providing general administrative support. A healthcare background and strong computer skills are required. Responsibilities: - Process, organize, and maintain patient medical records. - Scan, index, upload, and retrieve electronic medical records. - Ensure records are complete, accurate, and compliant with HIPAA requirements. - Respond to requests for medical records in a timely manner. - Communicate with providers, attorneys, insurance carriers, and staff regarding documentation requests. - Assist with record audits and quality assurance. - Provide general administrative support to the office as needed Qualifications: - Healthcare experience required. - Experience with medical records management preferred. - Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
