Job Description This role involves leading client relationships by providing expert accounting guidance, overseeing financial processes, and ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. It requires strong collaboration within a team environment, including mentoring, supervising staff, and improving operational efficiency. Additionally, the position includes managing audits, tax filings, budgeting, and client onboarding while identifying opportunities for service expansion and maintaining high-quality client service. What you’ll do You will lead client relationships by serving as the primary contact, offering accounting guidance, and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time You will oversee financial reporting, audits, tax filings, and fee calculations, ensuring compliance with fund documents and accounting policies You are responsible for evaluating and improving financial processes, managing client onboarding, and aligning expectations using best practices You’ll manage billing, monitor engagement economics, supervise direct reports, and identify opportunities to expand services across IQEQ segments You’ll foster a collaborative team environment through mentoring, training, and active participation in meetings and departmental initiatives What we offer IQ-EQ offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees' well-being and work-life balance. Qualifications You are located in San Francisco or Los Angeles, CA metro areas You bring 15+ years of experience in alternative investment management (hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, or real estate), along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an active CPA license You have deep expertise in fund accounting and financial reporting, ideally with some in-house experience You excel at managing multiple client engagements while maintaining strong attention to detail and multitasking effectively You’re proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with tools like QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify, NetSuite, and Sage Additional Information Our commitment to you and the environment Sustainability is integral to our strategy and operations. Job Description As a senior manager on our fund administration team, you’ll work directly with leading private equity clients, supporting fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications under the guidance of our experienced team. You’ll oversee client deliverables, review complex fund calculations and financials, manage audits, train junior staff, and drive process improvements across multiple engagements. What you’ll do • You’ll lead client relationships across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring expectations are met and timelines are followed. • You’ll apply your understanding of limited partnership agreements to fund operations, reporting, and investor communications. • You’ll prepare and review key financial components like journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics such as IRR. • You’ll manage audits, tax requests, and financial statement reviews while continuously improving operational processes. • You’ll prioritize tasks, respond to client requests, and train junior team members to support team development and efficiency.
