Principal Responsibilities Benefits Strategy & Administration Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of health, wellness, retirement, and paid time off programs. Oversee annual open enrollment and drive plan design enhancements. Leave & Disability Management Oversee the legislative leaves and disability programs across both countries, ensuring compliance and providing expert guidance to HR and employees. Vendor & Compliance Oversight Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service delivery. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, provincial/territorial legislation) and support audits and filings. Team Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing benefits team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Analytics & Benchmarking Analyze benefit utilization and cost trends. Conduct market benchmarking and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Employee Communication & Support Develop clear and engaging communication materials. Provide direct support to employees and HR partners to resolve benefit-related inquiries. Pension & Retirement Savings Oversight Support administration of pension and retirement savings plans (DC, RRSP, 401K). Partner with internal teams and vendors to maintain plan integrity and promote employee engagement. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing employee benefits programs, with a focus on both salaried and hourly employees in the U.S. and Canada. 1–2 years of experience leading a team of professionals. Proven experience in benefits administration, including health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off. In-depth knowledge of benefits regulations in the U.S. and Canada, including compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws. Experience managing benefits vendors and developing cost-effective benefits programs. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Don’t meet every single requirement? No problem! This Territory for this role is Chicago, Indianapolis, Kansas City, St Louis, Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, Milwaukee and Cincinnati. The successful candidate must reside in the greater area of the above mentioned sales territory. The position requires the individual to network with our customers including distributor partners, contractors, engineers and end-users while developing long-term, trusting relationships. Principal Responsibilities Establish sales objectives and monitor progress Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks. Build and maintain strong, long-term and trusting customer relationships. Obtain favorable product specifications with local engineering firms. Plan and allocate time and resources to ensure sales goals are met. Track leads and project opportunities. Manage regional pricing strategy. Interact with internal departments, such as Customer Service, Operations, Logistics and Marketing. Provide technical presentations and on-site training to engineers, contractors and distributor partners. Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner. Qualifications & Experience College degree is preferred. 3-5 years sales experience. Preferred in water based fire suppression sales, Construction or Project Management. Strong technical, analytical, negotiating and communication skills. Strong computer skills including MS Excel preferred. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills. Familiarity with CRM software. Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
