Interwell Health is seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Coding Documentation Support to join our Risk Adjustment team. The Senior Associate will assist risk adjustment manager in data collection and reporting of relevant data to support the chart review accurate coding program. The position will collaborate with the risk adjustment team for education and improvement plans to ensure optimal documentation and program effectiveness while adhering to the IWH corporate compliance programs and following regulatory requirements. The work you will do: Provide real-time documentation support to healthcare providers before and after patient encounters. Evaluate chart review performance and provide analysis to assist physicians and/or staff in improving and supporting coding and documentation best practices. Assist with Practice Support of Chart Review Process and Education Identify areas of improvement that will be used to plan provider education and create action plans for practices to address deficiencies. Prepare documents to present to practices or for follow-ups such as chart note examples, provider documentation trends, provider educational materials or coding guidelines Provide coding education to physicians, advanced practitioners, staff as needed Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and/or county laws and regulations related to coding and documentation guidelines for risk adjustment. Promotes transparency and collaborates with project team members to ensure effective coordination The skills and qualifications you need: • Certified Professional Coder (CPC). • Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) Preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study preferred. • 3+ years of experience with Risk Adjustment HCC coding or abstraction. • 2+ years of ICD-10 Coding, Chart Review Auditing. • Comprehensive understanding of HCC coding rules & regulations. • Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Must be proficient with Excel functions to develop data trends (pivot tables, graphs, etc). We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our Healthcare Insights team. In this role, you will join a high-performing team and play a pivotal role in analyzing complex operational and product-related data to support strategic decision-making and improve the performance of Interwell Health’s tools and services. You will work closely with your Interwell Health colleagues and stakeholders to understand analytical needs, generate insights that inform product development, streamline workflows, and drive operational efficiency. What You'll Do: Analyze large datasets from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs), claims data, membership and eligibility files, and public health databases Develop and implement advanced statistical models and algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and insights in healthcare data Conduct product-focused healthcare analytics to evaluate feature effectiveness, user engagement, and clinical workflow impact, identifying opportunities to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support healthcare strategies and initiatives Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare data analytics What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analytics, with a focus on population health preferred 5+ years of experience in SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, tables, constraints, etc.), and SQL query tuning Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, and/or SAS Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar Experience in mentoring and training junior team members, with a strong commitment to knowledge sharing and team development Strong understanding of healthcare data sources, including EHRs, claims data, and public health databases Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus at senior levels, representing data analysis as a key driver of business insights Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of VBC, healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices Our mission is to reinvent healthcare to help patients live their best lives, and we proudly live our mission-driven values: - We care deeply about the people we serve. - We are better when we work together. - Humility is a source of our strength. - We bring joy to our work. - We deliver on our promises.
