Job Summary Under limited supervision, the Account Executive provides leadership, accountability, and stewardship over multiple customers to include Warehouse Distributor (WD) and Regional account business. This role is responsible for profitable growth and all elements related to serving our account base including winning business with new customers. Generally, this role has an estimated unit volume, for a combined portfolio in the range of 75,000-125,000 units annually. Key Responsibilities Manages multiple WD and Regional customers and leverages internal resources to grow the book of business. Manages growth plans (internal) that stretch and achieve share gains greater than the industry and account plans (shared externally) that tie to strategy and growth planning for businesses. Presents updated growth plans (quarterly) and account plans (monthly) to leadership. Leads and manages account plans weekly with support from a cross-functional core team. Schedules and leads business meetings, quarterly business reviews, line reviews, and where applicable RFQs. Incorporates cross-functional team members as needed. (i.e., Marketing, Category Mgmt, Field Activation, Finance, Demand Planning, etc.). Completes customer engagement reports that are specific and justify travel related spend. Responsible for relationship mapping. Provides sell-in and executes annual pricing actions well in advance of start date. Customer Focus: Review, monitor, and analyze tools to identify markets that may be declining. Investigate specific accounts with an unacceptable decline to identify the cause, and work with MGM to develop a plan to address issues. Collaborate with MGM to maintain relationships with key accounts within the region. Key contact for complaints received by Customer Service group. Investigate all complaints and respond back to customers within a reasonable timeframe. Work with the Sales Team to acquire new business within the region and grow the customer base. Spend significant time in the regional marketplace to gain an in-depth understanding of competitive products and services. Analyze and report to senior staff market intelligence for the region. Ensure service to National Accounts meets or exceeds Service Level Agreement (SLA) expectations. Human Capital: Identify and develop strengths and weaknesses of MGM. Focus on the development of best practices that provide greater productivity and efficiencies and drive IOT goals. Conduct ongoing asset verification. Conduct National Account (NAC) audits for the region. Provide ongoing feedback for continuous process improvement.
