The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting background paired with the ability to partner and communicate effectively with external stakeholders to drive desired business outcomes. Overview About the Team The Finance Systems and Solutions (FINSS) team owns the end-to-end lifecycle, governance, and evolution of technology systems that enables Finance across Instacart. About the Role We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst II (L4) to support the design, configuration, and delivery of Order to Cash (O2C) system solutions in Oracle Cloud ERP and related platforms. This role will contribute to projects across Billing, Credit & Collections, and Customer Data Management (CDM), working closely with Finance, Accounting, Sales/Operations, IT, Product, and Engineering partners. As a core member of the Financial Systems team, you will help translate business requirements into scalable solutions, assist in testing and deployment, and partner with support counterparts to resolve issues and deliver enhancements. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise in O2C systems while contributing to impactful enterprise initiatives. About the Job Solution Delivery & Execution Support and at times lead discovery, design, configuration, and testing of Oracle Cloud O2C modules (AR, Billing, Collections, Credit, CDM), High Radius, and Billing Platform (or related billing and revenue recognition product). Partner with senior BSAs and project leads to ensure solutions meet functional and compliance requirements. Document requirements, configurations, and test results to support auditability and readiness. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Sales/Operations, IT, Product, and Engineering to gather requirements and validate solutions. Work with operational support counterparts to address system issues and integrate user feedback into enhancements. Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication. Process Optimization & Compliance Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in O2C processes through automation, standardization, and Oracle capabilities. Assist in ensuring compliance with SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements by following established practices and documentation standards. Contribute to maintaining documentation for process and system changes. Innovation & Continuous Learning Stay current on Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and O2C features, contributing ideas for adoption. Participate in enablement sessions, workshops, and team knowledge-sharing activities. Explore exposure to AI and automation use cases in O2C (e.g., predictive collections, cash application automation). About You Minimum Qualifications: Essential Skills and Experience: 3–5 years of experience in financial systems, ERP, or business systems roles, including at least 2 years with Oracle Cloud ERP O2C modules. Experience contributing to ERP/O2C implementations (supporting design, testing, deployment). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to create clear documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
