Job Summary & Responsibilities The Strategic Product Lead oversees all the products in their assigned portfolio and ensures alignment with Inspira’s overall strategy. This individual evangelizes a solution story to the market that explains what each product offers and the combined value proposition of the entire product suite. They ensure consistency among products and deliverables across their entire portfolio and collaborate with execution teams to prioritize development and resources accordingly. They will identify market opportunities as well as areas of improvement and work with product, design, dev, and service leadership to execute a strategy that meets overall business objectives. This role requires extremely strong communication skills both in presentation and written form. This individual will be interacting with our clients continuously and, at a high level, translating complex business, market, and compliance needs to technology teams who will be responsible for delivering solutions to market that delight our customers while also tying needs to overall product messaging, collaborating closely with the Director of Product Marketing on GTM. • Develop and maintain the overall product portfolio strategy in alignment with Inspira’s business goals. • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform portfolio decisions. • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities across products to optimize resources and ROI. • Lead portfolio planning sessions and coordinate cross-functional roadmaps. • Habitually conduct and/or participate in end user interviews, focus groups, and development of surveys to ensure solutions are meeting needs of our users • Monitor usage and engagement metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize user experience and business outcomes • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to elicit, analyze and understand needs, constraints, risks and alignment with organizational strategy and priorities • Oversee product lifecycles, including launch, growth, maturity, and end-of-life stages. • Monitor portfolio performance metrics such as revenue, profitability, and market share. • Identify underperforming products and recommend actions to address gaps • Stay abreast of trends, technology advancements, and industry disruptions to guide portfolio innovation. • Champion initiatives to introduce new products or enhance existing ones to maintain competitive advantage. • Be the ultimate subject matter expert on assigned products for internal and external stakeholders • Attend key industry events, network with other industry experts, speak at conferences and oversee client ideation events Preferred Qualifications Education & Experience: • 7+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or a similar role • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Design, Psychology or related field; Master’s Degree preferred • Proven track record in strategic planning and managing multiple products or business units. They will also be effective communicators and collaborators with an ability to influence peers and cross functional teams. • Act as a champion for and agent of change within the business, aligned to supporting project execution and toll-gating and helping them to learn, understand, adjust, and grow with the business Lean Six Sigma transformation. • Assess and improve organizational readiness with respect to technology requirements and serve as key point of contact for such initiatives. Job Summary & Responsibilities The Senior Strategic Product Lead oversees all the products in their assigned portfolio and ensures alignment with Inspira’s overall strategy. This individual is the expert for their product set within the organization and evangelizes a solution story to the market that explains what each product offers and the combined value proposition of the entire product suite. They ensure consistency among products and deliverables across their entire portfolio and collaborate with execution teams to prioritize development and resources accordingly. They will identify market opportunities as well as areas of improvement and work with product, design, dev, and service leadership to execute a strategy that meets overall business objectives. This role requires extremely strong communication skills both in presentation and written form. This individual will be interacting with our clients continuously and, at a high level, translating complex business, market, and compliance needs to technology teams who will be responsible for delivering solutions to market that delight our customers while also tying needs to overall product messaging, collaborating closely with the Director of Product Marketing on GTM. The portfolio that this individual will be leading is the Savings products in Health & Benefits, which requires a deep understanding of HSA (Health Savings Account), ESF (Emergency Savings Fund) and Retiree Health (VEBA, 115 Trust) solutions. This role will be focusing on compliance, user experience, and market growth. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of consumer-driven benefits administration, combined with a passion for creating user-centered products that meet evolving regulatory and market demands. As a senior leader in the organization, this individual will develop strategic roadmaps, including business, production and/or organizational priorities and they will contribute to the development of functional or departmental strategies within the product management discipline. The Senior Strategic Product Lead will report to the Senior Director, Product Strategy. • Develop and maintain the overall product portfolio strategy in alignment with Inspira’s business goals. • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform portfolio decisions. • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities across products to optimize resources and ROI. • Lead portfolio planning sessions and coordinate cross-functional roadmaps. • Habitually conduct and/or participate in end user interviews, focus groups, and development of surveys to ensure solutions are meeting needs of our users • Monitor usage and engagement metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize user experience and business outcomes • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to elicit, analyze and understand needs, constraints, risks and alignment with organizational strategy and priorities • Oversee product lifecycles, including launch, growth, maturity, and end-of-life stages. • Monitor portfolio performance metrics such as revenue, profitability, and market share. • Identify underperforming products and recommend actions to address gaps • Stay abreast of trends, technology advancements, and industry disruptions to guide portfolio innovation. • Champion initiatives to introduce new products or enhance existing ones to maintain competitive advantage. • Be the ultimate subject matter expert on assigned products for internal and external stakeholders • Attend key industry events, network with other industry experts, speak at conferences and oversee client ideation events • Coaches, mentors and inspires team to reach their personal and organizational goals • Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions Preferred Qualifications Education & Experience: • 15+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or a similar role • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Design, Psychology or related field; Master’s Degree preferred • Proven track record in strategic planning and managing multiple products or business units. Skills & Abilities • Deep understanding of consumer driven benefits and regulatory environment surrounding them • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations • Looks beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. • Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and ROI analysis. • Familiarity with product development methodologies, such as Agile or Lean. • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive alignment • Proven leadership skills to gain credibility, garner respect, and guide the creation of self-organizing teams • Ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously and manage stressful situations • Ability to provide and accept guidance and constructive feedback • Desire for continuous improvement through learning and study • Eagerness to teach and help develop others professionally, and exhibit passion and excitement about work to inspire others Other Requirements • Ability to work occasional overtime • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • May travel up to once a month, once a quarter is more likely Pay Range $155,000-$180,000 per year Compensation & Benefits The compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.
