Support the Reimbursement Project Manager by managing reimbursement operations, scheduling staff, assessing risks, performing QA/QC on submissions, and communicating progress to stakeholders. | Requires 4+ years managing multiple concurrent projects, a bachelor's degree, experience with federally funded programs and reimbursement practices under FEMA Public Assistance, and familiarity with COR3's DRS platform. | IEM is looking for a Full Time - Reimbursement Deputy Project Manager to work within our Puerto Rico Critical Infrastructure team. The Reimbursement Deputy Project Manager will consistently work with the Reimbursement Project Manager to management and support the overall cost recovery - reimbursement program of the assigned applicant. Primary Location: • Live within a commutable distance to Guaynabo and San Juan, PR. • Work will take place either in the field, in an office environmental, or remote from a personal location and will depend on or the need of the project. Travel Requirements: • This position may require travel to complete work assignments or attend meetings. Essential Functions: • Support the Reimbursement Project Manager in the overall operations and direction of the reimbursement team. • Scheduling, assigning staff, allocating resources, assessing risk, and managing them. • Performing QA/QC of reimbursement submission to the grantee. • Ensuring that deadlines are met, and keeping all parties informed of progress and any outstanding issues. Contribute and support the client production goals and are responsible for identifying potential risks and identify feasible solutions. • Serves as a Point of Contact between client stakeholders and the Reimbursement team • Provides written and oral reports on the status of reimbursements to the client representatives Minimum Qualifications: • Experience: Four (4) years relevant experience that includes management of at least three (3) concurrent projects of similar size and complexity. • Degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. • Exposure to operate and monitoring federally funded programs, including a clear understanding of the reimbursement practices under the FEMA Public Assistance program, and COR3's Payment and Cash Management Policy. • Experience working on the DRS platform. Preferred Qualifications: • Proficient in COR3's DRS system. • Strong Knowledge on COR3's policies and procedures. Primary Location: • Live anywhere that meets remote work requirements in the United States including Puerto Rico. • Work remotely from home or personal office location. Essential Functions: • Work with large data sets • Extrapolate conclusions from large data sets • Develop data analysis and forecast models • Analyze data and generate useful business reports and dashboards • Use data to create models that depict trends in the client base and the client population as a whole • Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results and effectively communicate interpretation of same • Maintain databases and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity • Outline the specific data needs for each client and/or business method analysis project (e.g. gather end user business requirements) • Communicate with client teams about data changes or requirements • Strong internal controls and policies and processes • Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs • Effectively collaborate with IEM's Disaster Response and Recovery management and system development team to understand company needs and devise possible solutions including the ability to: • Identify and recommend efficient streamlined data and reporting processes • Streamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics • Optimize joint development efforts through appropriate database use and project design • Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers • Effectively communicate (written and oral) with team members and client stakeholders. • Agile and able to be flexible and adapt quickly to changes during each assignment Minimum Qualifications: • Degree: Bachelor's Degree • Experience: 5+ years' experience in data mining, management or analysis consulting • Strong attention to detail • Excellent organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: • Basic to intermediate use of SharePoint • Intermediate to advanced use of Lucid Chart or Visio, Tableau • Expert to Advanced knowledge and use of PowerBI and Excel • Advanced to proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint • Consultative skills Additional Information: • Remote Locations: All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your internet connection.
