This person should have strong critical thinking and written skills to be able to understand challenging guidelines and articulate their understanding. Ideally, this person will have past data annotation experience, but this is not a requirement. Required Skills: Attention to Detail – Ability to consistently identify and label subtle patterns or elements. Basic Technical Literacy – Comfortable using annotation tools and understanding data formats (e.g., text, image, audio). Consistency and Accuracy – Ability to apply guidelines uniformly across large datasets. Critical Thinking – Capable of resolving ambiguous cases based on annotation rules. Communication Skills – Can report edge cases or unclear instructions to team leads or developers. Time Management – Able to meet productivity targets without sacrificing quality. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a humanities specialization is required. Bonus Skills: Experience with Annotation Tools – Familiarity with platforms like Labelbox, CVAT, Prodigy, or Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth. Understanding of Machine Learning Concepts – Basic knowledge of how annotations impact model training and evaluation. Quality Assurance (QA) Experience – Skill in reviewing or validating annotations done by others. Adaptability to Evolving Guidelines – Comfort with changing instructions and updating work practices accordingly. Team Collaboration Tools Proficiency – Familiarity with tools like Jira, Slack, or Trello for task tracking and communication. Problem-Solving Mindset – Proactive in identifying annotation issues or proposing improvements to workflows. About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in building pipelines, managing full-cycle recruiting, and leveraging data and reporting to inform hiring strategies. Strong Excel proficiency is essential to manage and analyze recruiting metrics and hiring reports. Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to offer for roles across departments. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles. Source passive and active candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other creative methods. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple functions. Schedule and coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and ensure a smooth candidate experience. Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, formulas, etc.). Create custom Excel dashboards and visual reports to support data-driven hiring decisions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the ATS and Excel trackers. Stay current on talent market trends and recommend innovative sourcing strategies. Required Skills and Experience: 1-3 years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience (in-house or agency). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must be comfortable with pivot tables, lookups, filters, and building reporting templates). Proven experience sourcing and hiring for corporate and technical roles. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus. Nice to have: Experience recruiting in a tech, data, or digital services environment. Familiarity with recruitment analytics and dashboards. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus but not required). Minimum Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
