Email Growth Marketing Manager The Email Growth Marketing Manager will own and scale our Email and SMS marketing programs. This role reports to the VP of Digital Marketing and will focus on developing high-performing lifecycle campaigns, optimizing automations, improving segmentation and deliverability, and driving measurable revenue growth. The ideal candidate is data-driven, highly collaborative, and passionate about creating impactful customer journeys through email, SMS, and personalized messaging. Key Responsibilities • Develop, execute, and optimize lifecycle Email and SMS campaigns, including welcome, reactivation, retention, winback, post-purchase, and cart abandonment flows. • Audit current customer journeys to identify lifecycle gaps and opportunities for improved engagement and conversion. • Refine and enhance high-ROI automations, ensuring our core flows are fully optimized and aligned with customer needs. • Own segmentation strategy to ensure precise targeting and relevant messaging across all campaigns. • Manage and improve deliverability, maintaining list health, engagement quality, and compliance best practices. • Set up, schedule, and QA all Email and SMS sends, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and proper tracking—and closely monitor results to identify opportunities for improvement. • Lead our testing framework, including A/B testing and experimentation across creative, timing, and offers. • Optimize personalization efforts, leveraging customer data to tailor messaging and drive stronger engagement. • Analyze performance across email and SMS, reporting on results and turning insights into actionable recommendations. • Maximize Email and SMS platform potential, ensuring we fully leverage tools, automations, and features to drive revenue growth. • Partner closely with across marketing, education and sales teams to develop compelling copy and visuals that align with brand voice and convert. • Interpret customer behavior, uncover trends, and inform segmentation and targeting strategies. • Collaborate with product and inventory team to align messaging with launches, promotions, and broader brand initiatives. • Share learnings and actionable insights across departments to support holistic growth strategies. • Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: • 3–5+ years of experience in Email and SMS marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or growth marketing. • Strong track record of building and optimizing lifecycle campaigns and high-impact automations. • Deep expertise in segmentation, deliverability best practices, and testing methodology. • Highly data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and drive strategy from insights. • Proficiency in leading Email/SMS platforms • Experience with A/B testing, conversion optimization, and personalization frameworks. • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner closely across teams, all with great execution and follow through • Excellent communication skills, highly organized, attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement and innovation. This is a regular, salaried, full-time, in-office position located at our headquarters in Concord, California. Target Salary Based on Experience The standard range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000 per year, plus bonus. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and competitive bonus achievement.
