Job Overview The Global Sourcing Commodity Manager provides enterprise-level leadership for PCBA, plastics, and metal fabrication commodities, developing and executing global sourcing strategies that deliver cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and productivity improvements. The role works cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and NPD teams to deploy preferred supplier strategies, drive supplier innovation, and ensure optimal cost, quality, and performance across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities • Lead global strategic sourcing projects and develop supplier contracts that secure favorable commercial, legal, and operational terms related to pricing, payment, lead times, capacity commitments, liability, quality, and risk mitigation • Drive end-to-end sourcing for NPD (New Product Development) and i2V (Innovate to Value) projects, partnering with engineering, operations, and suppliers to achieve cost targets, mitigate supply risk, and support successful product launches • Deliver direct material productivity savings using strategic sourcing, VA/VE, design-to-cost, supplier innovation, alternate sourcing, cost modeling, commercial optimization, and supply-risk mitigation strategies • Own enterprise-level annual pricing, e-auction, and clawback strategies, with accountability for commodity inflation forecasting, mitigation, recovery, and performance reporting to protect cost, margin, and financial commitments • Act as the supply chain escalation point for constrained suppliers, coordinating cross-functional teams to level-load global demand and optimize supply allocation across all business units • Drive networking capital improvement through strategic sourcing and contracting, negotiating favorable supplier payment terms, consignment/VMI, pricing structures, and commercial agreements to improve cash flow, working-capital efficiency, and risk protection Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related field • 5+ years procurement sourcing experience, consulting, buyer, and/or analyst experience Core Competencies • Demonstrated competence in negotiating skills and assessing vendors • Experience in coordinating, facilitating discussions, consultation, and conflict resolution • Professional verbal and written communication skills • Support a global business across multiple time zones, including flexibility for early morning or evening meetings Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% Pay Range The pay range for this role is $130,000 - $155,000.
