This position is a full-time, hybrid position which will be located in our Louisville, CO office. Position Summary Infleqtion is seeking an exceptional Principal Electrical Engineer with strong technical and people leadership experience to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of complex electronics systems supporting quantum sensors in demanding environments, with a primary focus on space-deployed systems. This role owns the end-to-end electrical design of sophisticated control, telemetry, and HW/SW electronic systems and subsystems that enable Infleqtion’s quantum products to operate reliably in mission-critical conditions. In this role, the Principal Electrical Engineer will lead and grow a multidisciplinary electrical engineering team, establishing clear roles, priorities, schedules, and performance expectations aligned with program objectives. The position carries accountability for technical quality, cost, and schedule, including ownership of detailed planning, proactive risk and resource management, and early problem resolution. The successful candidate will foster a strong engineering culture emphasizing accountability, professional rigor, and continuous improvement. The role requires close collaboration with management, researchers, systems engineers, aerospace experts, manufacturing partners, suppliers, and external subcontractors. The individual will actively engage customers and partners throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring delivery against milestones and commitments while maintaining alignment with Infleqtion’s internal product lifecycle and quality standards. Cross-disciplinary engagement is expected, with this role driving technical alignment across hardware, software, systems, and mission domains. This position offers a significant opportunity to influence Infleqtion’s prototype and product roadmap, shape the evolution of space-qualified quantum systems, and contribute directly to the company’s leadership in deploying quantum technologies into new and challenging environments. Job Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Management of internal and contractor teams responsible for design and delivery of electronics systems throughout the product lifecycle: concept, design, test and verification Own the overall system architecture and ensure alignment with requirements and functional needs of the system Presenting progress and results to senior management and the end customer Overseeing and/or contributing to design of subsystems such as analog, mixed signal, microcontrollers and FPGA controllers Execution of modelling, simulation, and analytical efforts required to enable product performance Integration of electronics subsystems with mechanical, optical, and other subsystems Identifying and engaging key suppliers Following Infleqtion’s Product Lifecycle Process and supporting Phase gate reviews, critical design reviews, and executive updates Supporting development of risk management plans and risk resolution, and supporting reliability analysis and continuous improvement Coaching and mentoring junior engineers Other duties as assigned or required Travel Up to 10% travel may be required to support off-site testing, deliveries, and integration. Key Responsibilities • Facilities Operations & Maintenance • Oversee daily building operations, maintenance, and repair of all facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities, security, and access control platforms • Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors for facility-related projects, services, and routine/preventative and emergency maintenance programs • Plan and manage facility expansions, renovations, and reconfigurations as needed, working closely with production and engineering teams • Ensure the facilities meet all applicable building codes, environmental regulations, and local ordinances • Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and forecast operational needs • Prioritize, track, and resolve Facilities related support tickets in management portals • Safety & Compliance • Develop, implement, and enforce workplace health, safety, and emergency response programs • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and drills to ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations • Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace safety initiatives and regulatory compliance • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure proper reporting of all safety incidents and near misses • Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees, covering such topics as first aid and CPR, fire safety, hazardous materials handling, and emergency action plans • Maintain accurate safety records, including training logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation • Promote a strong safety culture throughout the company, encouraging employee involvement, and continuous improvement • Vendor & Stakeholder Management • Negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts with facility service providers, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and construction vendors • Foster relationships with landlords, property managers, and external partners to ensure efficient facility operations • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, and Operations to support business continuity and employee needs Working Conditions and Physical Requirements This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Travel Up to 10% travel may be required Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of relevant experience in facilities management, operations, or construction project management. • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements. • Proven track record of managing vendors, contractors, and large-scale facility projects. • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with CMMS and/or EHS software • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or OSHA certifications preferred. Position Summary Infleqtion is seeking an exceptional Staff Electrical Engineer with aerospace experience to support and act as a team leader in electrical engineering development, strategy, delivery, and circuit operation in challenging environments in support of novel quantum sensors. This position will be responsible for leading the electrical design and development of electronic systems and subsystems for Infleqtion’s quantum products, with a focus on space-deployed systems.
