What You’ll Do Join our mission-driven credit card startup as an Anti Financial Crimes (AFC) and Fraud Prevention Analytics Manager on the Risk team. You will play a key role in developing and implementing Imprint’s AML program as well as fraud prevention strategies. You will focus on anomaly detection, transaction monitoring, customer risk management, and compliance system implementation. Your expertise will ensure that Imprint maintains robust financial crime prevention practices while balancing customer experience and regulatory requirements, protecting our customers and enabling innovation in our credit products. The Fraud Strategy team is central to Imprint's success, responsible for enabling sustainable growth by managing financial crime and compliance risks across the business. We work closely with Technology, Product, Operations and Compliance teams to design and maintain systems that monitor transactions, assess customer risk, and detect suspicious activity. As the AFC & Fraud Manager, you’ll report to the Director of Fraud Analytics and lead the development of policies, systems, and controls to identify and mitigate AML and fraud risks. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally to ensure AML & Fraud considerations are integrated into product design and business operations. What You’ll Do • Develop and manage Imprint’s Anti-Financial Crimes (AFC) program, including policies, procedures, and internal controls. • Design and implement frameworks to monitor transaction flows to identify suspicious or unusual activity. • Leverage graph databases to identify fraud rings looking to commit fraud and financial crime • Define & create monitoring dashboards to monitor health of portfolio and ensure appropriate alerts are triggered for anomalous signal. • Back-test and refine alert/rule thresholds; optimize detection logic to minimize false positives without compromising hit-rate. • Perform customer due diligence, periodic reviews of high-risk accounts, and ongoing risk assessments of the cardholder base. • Develop and define Enhanced Due Diligence procedures to be implemented by Operations team • Perform data extraction, enrichment, anomaly detection and pattern analysis. • Automate processes to help scale AML & Fraud processes in a high-volume credit card company. • Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and industry trends, recommending enhancements to maintain best-in-class controls. • Provide ongoing training and guidance to internal teams to enhance AFC and Fraud awareness. What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field. • Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, PySpark) and visualization platforms. • Experience implementing and managing transaction monitoring systems, customer risk scoring, and AML/KYC technologies. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify patterns of financial crime risk. • Deep understanding of financial services regulations and emerging financial crime typologies. The Team The Payments team operates the financial backbone of Imprint, owning the services that process and reconcile customer and partner payments across instruments like ACH, debit, bill pay, and checks. The Team The Data Engineering team at Imprint is responsible for building and scaling the data infrastructure that supports product development, analytics, operations, and machine learning across the company. What You’ll Do Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure across batch and streaming systems. Support and improve core components of Imprint's data stack, including Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Change Data Capture frameworks, and reverse ETL integrations. Implement data modeling best practices and contribute to testing, observability, and governance initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Analytics, Finance, and Engineering to ensure timely and accurate data delivery. Assist with external data integrations, such as partner-facing data shares (e.g., S3, SFTP, Snowflake) and financial reporting pipelines (e.g., with Netsuite). Participate in design discussions for scaling data infrastructure, including schema design, orchestration, and data lineage. Create clear documentation and ensure reproducibility for datasets and workflows you develop. Learn about modern data tools and trends and suggest improvements to existing processes. What We Look For 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles. Solid experience with Snowflake and dbt, with an understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts. Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and familiarity with orchestration frameworks (e.g., dbt Cloud, Airflow). Working knowledge of data integration tools like Fivetran or similar Change Data Capture solutions. Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or a similar programming language. Experience building and maintaining production data systems with guidance from senior team members. A detail-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for building clean, maintainable data systems. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners. Nice to Have Experience in fintech, high-growth startups, or customer-facing data products. The Role We are seeking a Card Operations Manager to oversee the execution and ongoing optimization of card programs. This role blends operational rigor in card manufacturing with strategic coordination across networks, processors, and internal teams. You’ll ensure programs are launched smoothly, customers can transact without friction, and improvements are continuously delivered. Internally, you will partner closely with the Design, Product, and Engineering teams to make sure each program not only meets brand expectations but exceeds them, strengthening loyalty and driving growth. Externally, you will be the face of Imprint to our card manufacturers and our networks (Visa, Amex, Mastercard) sitting at the intersection of our cards and our networks. What You'll Do Manage the full lifecycle of card manufacturing and fulfillment, from design to delivery, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance. Serve as the primary liaison between issuing banks, networks, processors, and internal teams to coordinate setup, launch, and ongoing program operations. Partner with the Go-To-Market team to align on launch readiness and ensure seamless onboarding for new programs. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify and implement improvements that reduce friction and enhance cardholder experiences.
