This role demands expertise in modern frontend and backend technologies, with a particular focus on Python, React.js, Django, Azure, AWS, and Postgres. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, architect systems, and mentor junior developers. Key Responsibilities: The job responsibilitiesfor this position will include but are not limited to: Full Stack Development: • Build, test, and deploy scalable web applications using React.js for the frontend and Django for the backend. • Ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend systems. System Architecture: • Design and implement cloud-based architectures using Azure and AWS services. • Optimize system performance and scalability. FHIR & Interoperability (20%) • Implement and consume FHIR APIs based on HL7 Implementation guides. • Map healthcare data to FHIR R4 resources (Patient, Coverage, EOB, Clinical, Provider Directory, Formulary). • Ensure compliance with HL7 IGs (CARIN, PDex, US Core) and CMS mandates (e.g., CMS-0057, CMS-9115). • Work with architects to integrate FHIR data pipelines into platforms like Firely, HealthLake, or Postgres-backed FHIR servers. • Apply OAuth2.0/SMART on FHIR principles for secure access and consent management. Database Management: • Design, manage, and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL. • Implement data pipelines and ensure data integrity. DevOps & Cloud Services: • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in cloud environments (Azure and AWS). • Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment. Collaboration & Leadership: • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features. • Provide mentorship to junior team members and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality. Best Practices: • Ensure compliance with industry standards for security, performance, and maintainability. • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend adoption as appropriate. Required Skills & Qualifications: Programming Languages & Frameworks: • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript. • Expertise in React.js for frontend development. • Proficiency in Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF) for backend development. Cloud Expertise: • Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Azure Functions, Azure App Service). • Knowledge of serverless architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Database Management: • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and schema design. DevOps & Tools: • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Soft Skills: • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. • Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively. • Strong management skills Education: • Must be a BS / MS graduate with 3.0 GPA or higher Interpersonal Skills • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of system design, interactive web content, and 3D component development, along with hands-on experience in AI-augmented software engineering practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using React.js and related technologies. • Build interactive web experiences, including 3D visualizations and browser-based 3D components using Three.js and WebGL. • Contribute to system architecture, technical design, performance optimization, and application scalability. • Develop reusable UI components and integrate interactive visual elements into web applications. • Apply AI-augmented development practices, including AI-assisted coding, testing, debugging, and code optimization. • Demonstrate proficiency in spec-driven development and loop engineering, using structured specifications, iterative development, feedback, and validation to improve engineering outcomes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions. • Ensure code quality, maintainability, performance, and compatibility across modern browsers. Required Skills & Qualifications • 6 10 years of professional software development experience. • Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. • Hands-on experience with Three.js and WebGL for interactive web development. • Strong understanding of full-stack application development, REST APIs, and backend integration. • Experience in system design, application architecture, reusable components, and performance optimization. • Practical experience with AI-augmented development workflows and modern AI-assisted engineering tools. • Familiarity with spec-driven development, iterative engineering workflows, and automated testing. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience building Three.js-based 3D components, interactive visualizations, or immersive browser-based experiences. • Experience with advanced WebGL rendering, 3D asset integration, animation, lighting, materials, and scene optimization. • Exposure to modern backend frameworks, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and application deployment. • Demonstrable experience applying AI-driven development workflows, including specification-based implementation, iterative refinement, and automated validation. • Candidates based in New Jersey or the Tri-State Area are preferred.
